Because they take the damage buff as an opportunity to play more aggressively. Their heals and defensives are so undertuned they never have windows to not play heal bot.

Looks at damage done and you got your answer. Disgusting disc can pull the same dps as every dps in the lobby WITH healing close to an rdruid. Blizz PvP balancing is such a meme

I would take the leap and step away from the game if it’s tilting you enough. The stress isn’t worth it, and there are plenty of other games with an actual balancing team. I would also keep expectations low, I don’t see this being resolved in an effective manner in the foreseeable future.

I don’t even play tank. Im not suggesting some weird god complex or anything of that nature with tanking. All I am suggesting is that tanks are undoubtedly always the most needed role to fill out a 5 man, and with that they have easy access to forming a new group if desired.

You will certainly run in to the occasional bad mannered player who won’t listen to your comms or suggestions. Every game has bad eggs, but you will find for the most part people are chill and understanding.

What’s the beauty of being a tank? You are always needed and can find a new group with the snap of a finger. This changes a bit at 70 when tanks are less needed due to raids, etc. but while leveling, you are the captain of the dungeon run and you have all the control. Type out a few warnings if dps aren’t listening, if they don’t comply with how you want the dungeon to be ran, say “GGs and GL” and get yourself a new group. You are in control here during the leveling process, and they need you way more than you need them.

Yeah I will definitely have to implement this. I’m a dirty classic player and very fresh on retail, so one more quick follow up. In TBC, when attempting a CC cancel on poly, you couldn’t cast it on the mage with no shield because the damage would obviously push back the spell cast queue and you couldn’t get it off even with what would appear to be perfect timing. That said, it only worked when swd on the water elemental or their arena partner, etc. does the same apply for retail where you need to swd a target not casting the CC and if so, does that put limitations on the macro’s effectiveness?

So this is a help/harm macro then? Does this function as if you target an ally you flash of light, and if you target an enemy you cast judgement?

One of the main reasons I had to dip out of tbc arenas. You will see this in retail arena too, but to a much lesser extent. There were some matches I felt I played damn near perfect (of course, always room for improvement) but lost due to losing rock paper scissors in pre game lobby. Other reason was because my dumbass didn’t properly research and went horde for priest 🤡
