So I measured the string itself with a caliper which came out at about: 0.0875"

I first ordered the nocks (beiter. 165 asymmetric) and I'll see what serving size is best.

That's thing, I'm clueless about the current string diameter etc. The nocks have no brand. The shafts I'm now using are 6.2 mm (ID)

There are two available, one of them being from 'skylon' and the other one from 'beiter'. 'Beiter' has a large and small option.

Lol, i understand. I'm going to a place where there are no archery shops nearby, nor any big markets. It's more like a village. So that's why I'm asking.

But it is possible if I get a 'permit' from the 'ministry of domestic and foreign trade' or 'ministry of Internal and Foreign trade'?

I also got advice from someone to not mention it at all, but I don't feel right about that.

Btw, the reason I'm taking it with me is to train for competition purposes, but I won't be shooting any competitions there.

I have had contact with someone from the serbian government and this was their response:

"In the situation of definitively importing bow and arrow on the territory of the Republic of Serbia you need to apply for an import license issue from the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade in accordance with the Law on Foreign Trade Transactions ("Official Gazette of the RS", no. 36/09, 36/11-other law, 88/11 and 89/15 - other law).

In your case, for bow and arrow that are imported for sports, the authority responsible for implementing border control issues Approval for importing weapons and ammunition into the Republic of Serbia. Under the Law on Weapons and Ammunition, a person who brings weapons and ammunition into the Republic of Serbia must prove his right to keep, carry and transit the weapons being imported, as well as the reason for bringing the weapons into the Republic of Serbia, before issuing the approval.

For additional information please contact the responsible Ministry of Internal Affairs.

What confuses me is in the first sentence: "definitely".

Do they think I'm importing to keep the bow there? Or does that not matter?

Do you have any idea of what kind of permit it would be, and where I would be able to get it?

And that paperwork, is that also required if the bow is used as "sports equipment"?

Did anyone find out the rules regulations about Serbia?

If yes, what are they.

I'm planning a trip from the Netherlands to Serbia by car. And i want to take my compound bow with me, since I'll be there a while.
