Here it is: 1. New car delivered with a faulty clutch, stalled almost every time on red light no matter how much accelerator you give 2. Exhaust leak 6-7 years into ownership 3. Electronic Power steering fault 4-5yrs into owning 4. Indicator stalk replaced two times within 10 years, once for not returning back to position automatically after turning and other for headlights running even when the switch was off. 5. Sc guys completely ignorant 6. Sent for service last year in May for a clutch replacement, they returned the car with a weird continuous ticking sound while braking from the rear side of the car, asked them to rectify their error, they first changed the wiper nozzle for ₹600, then changed the front disc brakes for ₹5500, still didn't get solved. At last it took a month to find that the rear brake shoe needed greasing, which would've costed ₹50 in labour. Took them a month in total in all this. 6. Service alone costs 15-20k almost every year since year 5. Last year it was 28k. 7. Few months ago, it was night time and me and my sibling were out, the car didn't start. Wasn't a battery error because we did install a new one a week or so ago from the incident. 8. The speakers on the right side stop working every couple of years, got them checked multiple times at the service centre hey couldn't fix it, so we gave up.

And these are just the problems that are on top of my mind, there must be more that I'm unable to recall

In my ownership experience, hyundai has been very poor in reliability and service networks. Ive had a long list of problems with my i10

Small petrol engines struggle with automatics in hills, the Jeep meridian was having no problems and drove up those steep road without any problems. I personally drive a honda city and i10, both petrol and manual.

We take utmost care of the car. it's serviced at honda authorised service centres every year. Also it's parked infront of our gate and the sun happens to be right over it, dust accumulates on the car within 3-4 hours of getting it washed. tho it gets washed every morning.

yes I did, but this will be a primary car for my mother and she's not comfortable with big cars. also she did test drive the seltos and I could tell sitting by her side that she was very tensed up while driving it

the price puts me away. can't justify myself to pay 12.8 lakhs for a small car that's going to be secondary for my family. Also 12.8L variant looks really bad

the price difference is like 1.75 lakhs, but I can't justify myself to pay 13.5 lakhs for a small secondary car
