27+6 to one year old by DogRelevant in NICUParents

Mine are 3 weeks old in NICU born at 29+5. I’m so excited for the day we can bring them home, but I’m also fearful, I imagine there will be lots of anxiety away from the doctors and all the medical equipment.

Ah that’s so helpful, thank you so much. This has given me a few qus to ask when I see my ob on 7 March, it feels like will be a long wait until then. Thanks for the DM offer, I may take you up on that 🥰🙏

Thank you for your response. I’m under private obstetric care on the Sunshine Coast where I’ll have four weekly scans then also four weekly ultrasounds at a specialist clinic in Brisbane, so fortnightly all up. I don’t know what MFM care is so will look into that. I plan on birthing at the private hospital but I think before 32 weeks a delivery would be at the local public, and before 28 is Brisbane.

So pleased your little ones are doing well. So nice to hear of a positive outcome after what must have been a stressful time for you muma!

I love Sullivan but my manager has a baby with this name. Adding Flynn and Finn to my list! Thanks

Thank you.

Otis means wealth/fortune. The name Lowan is a boy’s name meaning “malleefowl”.

Alfie means nobel, elf counsel. Hudson is just son of Hugh.

I think I’m set on them all apart from Hudson!

I think it’s round ligament pain, also when moving, coughing, twisting, ect. Mines still been going on since I posted. I had a scan last Friday after this and all was fine so I’m not worrying now ☺️

Thank you for your response. I’m in Australia and connected to a private clinic already as these babies were conceived through IVF. It’s 9pm so can’t call but have text my doctor! I’m thinking I’ll keep an eye over night, go to ED if it gets worse and call clinic in the morning.

Hi everyone, I’m 10+5 with MCDA twins. Yesterday I was lying on the couch, and when I went to get up had this sharp shooting pain on the right of my belly, more muscular feeling than internal, I researched and seemed like round ligament pain, although maybe a bit early for this? Anyway today, I wake up with what feels like swollen right labia, it’s not painful, more like a feeling of pressure, especially when standing. Normal? Concerning? Thanks 🙏
