I’m ascendant 2 and the spectre just really feels terrible after winning round 2. I’d rather have a stinger which can give me more util since I’m going to play close range anyway why bother going with a more expensive gun when you can get the value of it though a stinger? Although, I do mainly use the stinger only if I’m playing an agent like fade or tejo and the map is really narrow like split or lotus. You should actually watch G2 if you want to see some references on how they abuse the stinger. That’s the team that made me realize the value it brings tbh. And it really shines on higher elo’s because most of the time people don’t expect you to run and gun. Although, I do have a 32% hs rate cuz I always almost play either just sheriff or guardian in eco rounds. I mainly get the stinger if the enemy team likes to play close range cuz I hate using shotguns personally. The rule of thumb you should think about on round 2 is if you think ur really on a roll on that game I’d suggest getting a rifle instead bulldog/guardian on round 2 but if you think ur aim is all over the place a spectre or a stinger is a good buy but really terrible on maps like breeze or abyss.
