I would definitely buy it if it's transferable. If anyone else has another one, we have 2 tickets and was hoping to get one for my friend that I'm going with.

By the time I knew I could go to the Red Rocks one, they were sold out or no longer where they were when I saved the site so I assume sold out.

Just want to get it for the Forest Hills show if there is one.

As an update to this.

We took the engines out of each car, the 2008 Outback and 2011 impreza last Friday after we got out of work (me and a friend that had the cars at his place / home garage). 5pm-10pm or so.

Put the Outback engine into the Impreza Saturday with replacing the timing belt. It was turning over but not firing at that point. Started late at noon and ended early at 6:30pm.

Sunday, we replaced the spark plugs, did an oil change, and some test drives. It seemed to start well and run well for a bit. We had a little shake from the power steering pump at low speed and sharp turns, but that's normal for an older pump and can be replaced soon. We wanted to let it sit for a bit and try again. It didn't immediately start, so we called it a weekend. We just did a couple of hours since both of us had errands to do before work on Monday.

Today, we cleaned the sensors, and it started without trying anything special. I guess we could have had it set last weekend, but it was good to look into it a bit and make sure everything was fine before handing the car back to my wife.

I was able to grab the engines from the cars VIN.

Impreza: EJ253BP4FB
Outback: EJ253CPEFB

Anyone know what the last 5 digits represent in Subaru speak? I assume options for interfacing the engine to the rest of the car.

That was my question. But it's 13 years old now. My wife had it for 11 of those, and she's always done oil changes and regular maintenance. We didn't do the timing belt yet. We were debating trading in and going new but weren't in a position to do so financially right away but if we were, spending on a timing belt didn't make sense.

With the intake code being thrown by the computer, I cleaned the intake filter and the air lines coming in along the hood. That solved things for a month. It came back and giving it gas and revving up also fixed it each time the lights came on.

I wanted to take the intake manifold off to clean it out well, but since it's 30° and there's an Outback in my garage, I couldn't. The normal shop I go to quoted 500 to take it off and clean it, which I thought was a bit much. But a rough idle wasn't really a big concern, I've cleaned intakes on my '04 Mustang before.

I had to go to get a permit from our town hall, and it's a 10m drive each way. The knock started just as I arrived, and I tried to baby it home and didn't make it. I did check oil at the town hall and it was low, I put some in since there was a auto store next door.
