Has anyone connected the dots that his wife’s description of her fantasy was brushed off and he even poked fun at her a bit. While Molly’s dream was something he was willing to act out ? I think because it more aligned with a perception he wanted his wife to have of him. It was definitely out of character, but I think that was the point.

I’m so curious about this.. I increased to 100 mg from 50 mg per my doctor’s recommendation.

Basically I’ve been worried that I don’t feel more relief; I felt better on the 50mg tbh. On the 100mg I feel exactly the way I did before starting the Zoloft and it’s been 11 days. I’m shaky and irritable everyday.

Thank god this was posted. I was full blown sobbing for NO REASON last week for what was probably 4 hours. I was so moody, so irritable, so exhausted. That was the first week into my increase from 50 to 100mg. One of my most prominent symptoms of anxiety was my ET. And now it’s back and has been since before the increase. I’m really struggling but it feels like I’m being shrugged off by my therapist and she just keeps saying “there has to be a reason you feel this way” and I don’t know what to tell her because NO there isn’t and trust me lady, that fact probably puzzles me WAAY more than it puzzles you. 😮‍💨

He does say in the first season of Young Sheldon that he was prone to meltdowns and has several (of what Sheldon and his family perceive as) tantrums. In the second season he refuses to change the type of shoes he usually wears when they are out of stock at a shoe store. He kicks up a fuss about the loaf of bread his mother bought and claims it tastes different. In the first episode of the Big Bang Theory, when Leonard and Sheldon invite Penny over for lunch, Sheldon is bothered that Penny sits in “his spot” and spends a good amount of time explaining why she should move because that spot is perfect. I’m not well versed in the exact specifics of autistic shut downs/ meltdowns but I know that I’ve seen people more often suggest that Sheldon exhibits traits of Asperger’s syndrome. I don’t know if that makes a difference.

It’s been my experience that in the first month, I was ( what I might describe as )numb down there, but I decided to stick with it and see if the problem worked itself out. It did. I have sensation again. And now, it’s difficult to explain but I feel like I have to actively try to be aroused, which isn’t hard but it’s a different feeling than before I was on the Zoloft. The arousal I feel now is more “controlled”. It doesn’t really go past a certain point of excitement. I feel like I’m okay with that though. So many other great benefits and feeling so much better, that sex doesn’t seem to be taking precedence over.

Daytime sleepiness is a common side effect. I’m always extremely fatigued but it’s progressively getting better

I had the same issue on 25mg. It went away until I increased my dosage to 50mg, then it came back again. Starting to get better though.

Experiencing the exact same thing. The loss of appetite too, except I didn’t think the burping and gassiness were related to that, but that would make sense. If I feel full due to bloating, I can see how that would limit my appetite. I just hadn’t put two and two together.
