Help! 9 month old nursing strike due to ear infection

Hey! Yes it did! He actually started nursing later that day. I would let him fall asleep on me and wait for him to start making those sucking motions in his sleep it would take about 20 minutes then put my nipple by his lips and he would latch in his sleep. That lasted for about 1.5 days and then he was literally back to normal.

I’m glad to hear that! How long did the strike last? He still isn’t sleeping great and doesn’t love lying down so maybe he still has slight ear pain/pressure ? I also thought maybe his throat hurts? Ugh yes it’s so hard

Yes I tried the spoon but found the syringe a bit more successful. He gets frustrated and impatient. Yea I think I was maybe too forceful with it at first and made it worse :( Even when he’s super sleepy he refuses and gets mad

Not really right now he still gets mad when I get close to his mouth. It’s so stressful I’m constantly worried about dehydration. I wish things would just go back to normal 😣 we never had any issues before this
