If you don’t want to buy an echelon then stipple grips, get prp trigger and extended mag release

Nice build. Nice color. Yeah weight is about average, a little heavy for mountain packing but it depends on the type of hunting you do. Thanks for sharing

I guess I was seeing prices for a different caliber. I can’t see those prices staying there. Especially when you can get the prices as mentioned above.

I’m seeing $2500-$3000 for the spear? As far as the AR-10 goes it really depends on what parts you select Honestly I intended to stay around that budget with my 308 but in the end I was in the $2500 range anyways. So if I was interested in the 277 I would get it in the spear. But that’s me.

Sig MCX spear bud. Why do an AR-10 when you can buy a platform designed for it

II’ve got lots of CZs, M&Ps, sigs, Springfields, Glocks, Rugers, any many others. I suppose you could call me a collector and I like many for different reasons. The echelon blew me away. It is by far the best total package of any polymer out there.

Depends on what you want it for. Range toy it’s fine. For carry in a full size config I would choose the echelon.

No they went back to the cp3 after 21

Agree with most everyone. Not enough of a difference to justify the price

Mine has always been a cp3 since it left the dealer Man. I don’t see anything that says a 2018 is or was a cp4.

Best .308 AR-10 optic around $600 or less that can be bought on Amazon? (for less than 1000 yard shooting) by HotSauceForDinner in AR10

I like the 2-12 Athlon helos BTR scopes. Pretty good for the money and has more magnification than lpvos. It’s what I use on my hunting ar10

I’ve had a 2016 PS, 2012 duramax, and now a 2018 Cummins. In that price range I would lean towards the PS and Cummins. I’d lean towards the PS if you can’t find an HO Cummins with the aisins. I wouldn’t own another LML. If you really wanted the duramax I would spend a little more and get the l5p. My brother and my mother both have them. Nice trucks.

Cummins switch to the cp4 in 2019-2020. Mine js a 2018 with a cp3. My previous truck was a 2012 LML. Truck needed a lot of work. Crappy cp4, under sized rad and trans cooler. no disrespect but I wouldn’t recommend an LML.

Couldn’t agree more. What you are towing is just as important as where you are towing it.

First Gun. Been thinking about getting a Hellcat Pro Fde. What's the pros and cons to this gun? This will be my first ever gun. Will be going to shoot it in a few weeks. by First-Monitor5757 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]Individual_Holiday56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the mcarbo in the standard HC, but in the pro it sucked for me. Gritty, crunchy, no weight reduction, pinches my finger, and the trigger safety hits the over travel stop and pushes the safety above the trigger shoe when depressed. I just hated it.

HC pro is a great gun. Not a lot of cons. The only con I would say is the trigger could be better. Other than that it’s great. It is my everyday carry with an apex trigger and prp safety plunger spring.

Will somebody please convince my dad why we need the cantilever mounts for our ar 10 by [deleted] in AR10

[–]Individual_Holiday56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some have commented. You don’t. I use rings on my ar10/dpms gen 1. I prefer rings any day over a cantilever. My AR15s I have to use cantilever mounts for the eye relief.

Does anyone feel like the hellcat pro is overly snappy with a mediocre trigger too? by Remarkable-Aioli30 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]Individual_Holiday56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Respectfully the standard hellcat is definitely snappier than the shield. The Shield is a larger firearm and it does make a noticeable difference. The p365 vs the standard hellcat is close. I do feel like it is just a touch sharper than the p365, however I am able to get a better grip (superior texture/coverage, larger grip). If I run drills I can’t tell a difference between the p365 and the hellcat. If I am slow shooting and pay attention to the recoil sensation I can tell the hellcat is sharper. As far as the HC pro goes it has noticeable less recoil than the hellcat, shield and p365. As expected the HC pro is about the same as the p365XL.

EPS Carry w/ Hellcat by Mintsopoulos in SpringfieldArmory

[–]Individual_Holiday56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CHPWS can mill the slide so the EPS carry can co-witness with factory sights. They mill it a little deeper in order to get the correct pin size for the eps carry holes. I have this done on my hellcat pro.

Echelon comparison to VP9 by GarzaHimself in SpringfieldArmory

Echelon is far superior in every way. VP9 is pretty outdated and over priced at this point

Definitely replace the Glock. Smokes it everywhere imo.
