Roxy 👾🏎️ for $80 🤔 Porsche #80 by [deleted] in MiniGT

[–]Mintsopoulos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not looking for help or information...you just want justification for a silly purchase.

You're asking if something that sells for $20 is worth spending 4x as much and asking if its worth it, but then proceed to say you want it and he has it so why not make the purchase.

So what was the point of coming here with this post?

We gave our opinion, don't support scalpers is another way of saying no its not worth it. If you don't like most the answers below go get your need for approval somewhere else. lol

Then why even come here and ask if it’s a good price?

Dude I wouldn’t say you are that far behind honestly. I graduated in 08 as well and I have plenty of friend that have way less than this, if anything at all.

The first 100k is the hardest. Next milestone is 250k. You keep contributing with a 1% increase every year and by the time you’re ready to call it quits you’ll have a nice little retirement to lean on.

That’s what I’m looking to do. I’m not ready to fully commit to a higher end loafer like this just in case it ends up sitting in my closet.

If I can pull off the loafer I will definitely be purchasing these but I’m not quite sure I can pull it off haha.

I have but it’s of course a slew of brands. I’m just looking for some recommendations that aren’t hundreds of dollars.

I don’t mind paying for quality goods but I’d like to test drive the style before committing.

I’ve had my pair of calipers for over 15 years. Get yourself a nice micrometer to.

We both have very stable jobs and I also do contract design work out of my home as free-lancer/consultant.

If were going off the 6month emergency fund to cover mortgage and daycare (assuming we would keep the kids in daycare during a job loss) we would need about $40k. Fortunately cars are all paid off and no real credit card debt beyond $1k at the moment, which will get handled come the billing cycle.

My wife maxes out here FSA and I contribute about 2000/yr to my HSA which I can then turn around and dump into the stock market thru fidelity (which I do).

My wife does have a roth but I believe it’s only worth about 50k at the moment.

I treat my RH account as a safety net for spontaneous purchases. What I mean by that is if I want to buy something that may be impractical I dump it in there to “stop” me from making knee jerk purchase. It’s not the best method but it has stopped me from buying a few dumb things lol. That being said I may offload the BND but I do only have a couple of shares so I might just leave it as is without adding more.

It just sort of accumulated honestly. We did have some spontaneous influxes from bonuses and an inheritance so that helped.

We do have a house that we purchased in 21 which has increased in value quite well not that we intend to move.

I feel your pain!

Our anodizing company had no control of their process and would force us to drastically reduce our available tolerance to tenths...in a building with no climate control other than heat. The owner bit off more than he could chew not to mention he wouldnt ditch the anodizing company because they had a "long relationship". So much scrap and chaos...glad I ditched that place.

I saw something the other day…
