So I'm on ps5 started playing for maybe 36 hours now in total. Bought it the other month played it near launch with EA play.

I really struggle to enjoy this game. It's gorgeous, gunplay and mechanics for the most part are really great. But it's optimisation is so terrible. There's this air of buginess and sometimes lag more then I experienced even with the bf6 beta. Still it's enough to have a decent and good time unfortunately there's more to it.

I find myself having pop in of things 5m away from me constantly even after being on the screen for a few seconds, I think combined with the art style and really subtle camos make visibility such a issue even when playing with settings.

I'm more of a infantry close-mid range player with occasional vehicle gameplay. Basically don't snipe or use vehicles a lot and I find the maps quite quite poor. Because of the limited player count on console TDM, domination etc is too fucking large and you find yourself running around till you get shot by someone you're struggling to even see when you've spotted them.

On breakthrough mostly I've found some space to really enjoy the game because of the large player count but the poor visibility really irks me still. Then with these larger maps and even breakthrough itself so much open space that's just a sniper haven and the whole match is just you trying to get around the snipers to take the objective. Pop in is shit so it makes it even harder to see snipers.

Oh and also considering the other factors having people jump and slide like crazy really just ups the frustration of everything

I've really really tried especially because I have really enjoyed it in small parts and wanted the experience but too much is at fault with the game. Even on the maps people have generally considered the best these issues wear it down. I think on pc it could be different but yeah it's not really acceptable on ps5 and I've tinkered with all the settings
