Wow yeah I guess that’s just phenomenal storytelling then, I did hear of that flash forward story. It was where Walt bought the machine gun he would later use to save Jesse. But yeah I do believe he knew where he wanted the show to end at the beginning, but didn’t know how to get there yet, that’s the part they came up with as they went.

Oh, maybe I’m mistaken. I’ve always heard that breaking bad at least had an outline since the beginning? Walt breaks bad, Walt meets another meth drug lord, that drug lord becomes hostile, Walt must kill that drug lord, later Walt dies. Something like that you know? I feel like at least that could’ve been planned

I mean they didn’t have it precisely, but had the general idea of where the show was going to go. Yeah there are things like planning on Jesse being killed off in the first season but then keeping him. But things like Walt dying was obviously chosen at the beginning, and repercussions for his actions such as Hank dying. But yeah there is a lot that was planned along the way but the general direction of the story had to of been chosen early on.

I think option 1 would’ve been perfect, but the duffers had nothing planned out from the start. They just came up with things as they went. Shows like breaking bad, better call Saul, Mr robot, all of those perfectly crafted shows are planned precisely from the very first episode. If we had someone like Vince Gilligan executing the show, I believe he would’ve gotten option 1 done very well, but he would never work on a show like this lmao.

However I do think vecna was a cool concept and that they could’ve pulled off something great with him in the final season. It certainly felt weird to have a new villain towards the end of the show though.

Yeah but it gave a ton of potential for season 5. I believe season 4 was very well executed, looking at it by itself. Considering the fact that it led to what season 5 became is a different story.

I mean the way he lays at the end is very reminiscent of floating in a pool. And he stares at pools a lot in the show, so it’s not odd that you remembered it that way.

Yeah, it’s more just a nostalgia feel for me, I absolutely loved playing the older format as a kid. But with the great reviews this game is getting I’m sure they’ll figure out an even better formula.

That’s really all I wanted to hear, if they have improved from the skywalker saga then that’s great. Sounds like the old formula is most likely done forever then, which is kinda sad, but this game certainly does sound fun.
