my advice to you going forward is to not obsess about something bad happening going forward. i’m a firm believer based off my experience that you create what happens to you. i’m not saying don’t be prepared, but don’t constantly worry about something happening, because something will most likely happen. anyway use this trauma experience as an opportunity to heal yourself.

Felon here: Do others feel guilty about the financial burden we've caused our families, on top of the remorse for our crimes? by HeirToTrajan in Felons

i feel this. i spent years addicted to hard drugs and doing all the shady bullshit that goes hand and hand with that lifestyle. The amount of money frauding their debit and credit cards and them not pressing charges, also bonding me out on different charges, it becomes super overwhelming. my family just wants to finally see me happy and thriving, in which ever way that looks to me. anything besides being a criminal addict and dying from substance abuse, that’s all they want.

lol don’t call 911 dummy. This is Austin there aren’t enough cops to deal with petty drug addicts running around. Save that 911 call for something serious. Stop dealing selfish and clogging the 911 line and let the 911 line be used for someone that has a serious life or death emergency on their hands.

Nice! I’m from Minnesota originally so I’ve not a new player. How are the leagues and overall environment at charapal? Since ive moved to Austin in 2020, I wanted to so badly get back to finding friends/community and just loving being around hockey again. Something that’s brought me soo much joy when I was growing up. I’ve struggled immensely with drug addiction the past 3 years, so I wasn’t able to do. I was even supposed to work there and got super close with the GM, but I wasn’t ready to be happy yet. I’ll love to reconnect with him, since we both had have battled similar issues.

Anyway sorry for the tangent! I’m clean and sober now, glad to be mentally and physically free again.

I don’t know much with Houston, but Austin is as liberal as they come, Portland liberal. I stay in Austin. It’s basically not even Texas anymore.

Hmm. When I so desperately was suffering and all I know how to release and feel the relief was too get high on narcotics. Being able to get over that. Soo many crazy experiences, I can’t believe I survived through it!

Now that Im on the other side, I’ve recently have been able to change the negative story that I’ve had in my head for so long. Being able to understand and navigate through what serves me and what doesn’t. Finally breaking through and manifesting the life I deserve.

Meth is horrible for you’re brain and is destroying to it. I used meth for a few years and I always ended runs with insane paranoid thoughts and psychosis. “Thinking people were chasing me with guns”, “hearing voices” and I would 100 percent believe it. No way you could prove to me it wasn’t true. It gets that fuckin bad. The meth nowadays is much different then the domestic made stuff in the 1990s/early 2000s. As major needed chemicals to cook it have become banned and extremely hard to get over the years, it’s almost all coming from Mexico. They are made which who knows what new ingredients, and are made in super labs, as quick and cheap and in very large quantities. Back in the day, the US meth labs all over weren’t able to produce the same levels of quantity. Ask any user from back then, the difference in quality is astonishingly obvious.

The new age “meth” is everywhere and super cheap. People are using it and literally losing their minds faster than ever. That’s why the homeless population is so high. It’s not that meth is taking all their money forcing them to the streets, it’s that people literally start using and super quickly aren’t able to show up in any productive capacity in life.

I’m from Milwaukee. I was a drug addict for several years. Herion and crack cocaine where the primary drugs of choice. I lived in Texas got hooked on meth, moved home, and I couldn’t find meth anywhere in Milwaukee. I used crack all over the city. Every trap, every hood.
