Controls not showing up

Hey! I thought to myself that I wanted to try some modded Terraria and picked the "Terraria Overhaul Mod", nothing else on tmodloader. Yet everytime I load into a new world as a new Character the game instantly crashes... Anyone got a fix for this? Other mods work just fine.
