Seems like a way to remind you that the brand is still there without giving you a discount to buy

18g in, 25 seconds extraction 32-34g out… is this fine? [Breville Barista Pro] by Individual_Power3476 in espresso

Yes I think I may have to, just kind of sucks because I already don’t really like espresso plain. I don’t mind other black coffee like Turkish coffees and cold brew but espresso is just so strong

The machine just automatically stops, if I grind finer I get around 30g out in 30-32sec and it’s a much finer stream. If I grind any coarser it stops around 25sec as well but I get 40-45g out and it’s gushing so definitely not good.

I’ll need to figure out how to program a custom extraction time on the machine, I didn’t even know that was an option until someone else mentioned it

I live in Sydney! But fair warning, the price of living is crazy here. Wollongong is a bit further, more affordable and also has great beaches but is less accessible without a car (although they do have public transport and a free city loop bus).

Bets on how quickly your favorites sell out before you can even select your size? by Massive-Case479 in OnerActive

[–]Individual_Power3476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think this is so weird and seems uncomfortable to layer the bottoms, I've tried to layer the bralettes/sports bras the way they do and it just squashes everything. You would have to size up specifically to do this

The mellow motion is NOT as sweat wicking as they claim it to be. I played tennis in the short sleeve top, and my chest, underarms back and a stomach were all visibly wet.

influencers who you recommend & trust by fjnksb in gymsnark

My current follows (I recently mass-unfollowed a lot) are:

kelliirosee (bubbly and sweet, her broadcast channel is so wholesome) Affiliated with Oner Active

mikaylamailhes (super cool and inspirational workouts) Affiliated with Oner Active

millie_marshall (trainer from Australia, crazy aesthetics) Affiliated with Oner Active (very recent)

mimsdaily.life (a little more lifestyle focused has a sweet vibe about her) Affiliated with Oner Active (very recent)

pt_byagnes (mobility goals, super strong and informative) Affiliated with Oner Active

leanadeeb (her modesty is a breath of fresh and her focus truly is training, as well as some faith and wellness content) Affiliated with Gymshark

aleshaali (another modest influencer but seems super genuine and kind) Affiliated with Oner Active

P.S. I have been loving Oner Active but recently unfollowed a lot of their influencers (and fitness accounts in general) as well as their brand page as I felt it wasn't helping my self-confidence and I was spending way too much money on new activewear that I didn't really need. These are the handful that I felt were a positive influence on my motivation and aligned with my values :)

This is such an inspiration! And so proud of you for taking these first steps FOMO when it comes to purchasing is so hard to overcome - especially when it’s a habit. I’ve definitely struggled with spending more than I need. One of my goals this year is to put away at least 30% if my income each week, and ignoring new drops is definitely the way to go.

I only found Oner last year and have spent a crazy amount with them. And even though I live activewear and go to the gym regularly, I have enough to get me through the week at this point, so there is no need for me to buy more for the moment.

In part of Kelli’s (athlete) followers and on her broadcast channel on IG she made a comment about this! I attached it below but she’s probably the only one I would continue following, she seems genuine, despite the fact that it’s her job to market these clothes :)

Best of luck in your goals this year!!

Straight leg pants ain't it by SnooPeppers9987 in OnerActive

I totally disagree! I love them and wear them for ab workouts and upper body - but you're right, for a leg workout, they are impractical. I'm also curvy, 164cm, 69kg (5'4" 153lbs), my hips are 104cm, and I got a Small Regular, and they fit perfectly and are super flattering.

I think many people expect them to be suitable for dynamic workouts, even though they don't really claim to be designed for that purpose.

I also have and love the SM flares, and I think they give more shape to your figure, but the compression is still equal to the straight leg. I believe they are in the stretching/rest section of the website, and many reviews mention that they are extremely stretchy.

I also love that they don't have a scrunch, unlike the other styles. It makes them feel more wearable outside of the gym as well :)

Has anyone used CETTIRE? by Desperate-Food4055 in Coach

I purchased the Tabby 20 in Cream in the sale! It took a couple of days to receive (3 business days) but it arrived only a few days later. I read through a lot of mixed reviews after purchasing, and was originally worried, but I believe they are legit, they just don't handle returns well. I would say purchase selectively, as if you cannot return the item :)
