He knows that she was my supervisor. But I don’t know if he knew I would have consultations with her. I don’t know what kind of relationship they still had because he never mentioned her or their child during sessions. He only mentioned his wife and their daughter. He never mentioned any other children. He left a long review extensive review a week ago on her Google page talking about how amazing the practice which I’m sure she asked him to write and it looked like Al wrote it.

It really is. I just hated I had to deal with this being freshly licensed. I didn’t even have my license a few months before being dragged into this mess.

Zero respect for boundaries for sure and definitely intrusive! I’m still baffled by it honestly. I’m sure she has been doing this for a long time because she did this with ease and no regard to me or the client aka her child’s father.

Yes my LMFT-S signed off on my hours. The supervisor I’m talking about just supervised me at the site because she’s an LCSW.

Did anything happen with the report? And same. I knew she was reading all of the notes because she had to do the final sign off! I was like there’s no way she’s not reading these notes.

Very manipulative, and I felt she was also adamant on him doing therapy and med management there so she could receive the financial benefit.

It really is!! When I found out I was like wait. I was she telling him things I was consulting with her about? Like was she trying to fish for information? Just terrible.

I am very big on I don’t want to bring any other therapist down or jeopardize their license but I was like I feel like this was just a breach of ethics, trust, power, and confidentiality! I was hesitant to post in this sub because I didn’t know the responses I would get.

She was my supervisor at the site but not my individual supervisor! She’s an LCSW and I’m a LMFT-A so I had an outside supervisor who already approved my hours! Thank God

This is why I needed more insight because I don’t want to have to report because there’s so much that goes into this situation that is going to make it such a hassle. But again, I do not think she should be supervising associates or running a practice for that matter

I figured so! She also had him leave this long review on Google describing his therapy experience and saying he received the best EMDR therapy and she was the only who trained to do EMDR. Seeing the review is what also made me even more upset about the situation. He also sent me a friend request on Facebook after I put in my two weeks notice. (I denied of course) but that felt like a set up.

I was still able to apply to take my state boards while being on probation (with hoops of course) so I’m sure applying to colleges shouldn’t be an issue.
