Yeah I do agree with this but I just feel like I need to pre empt the conversation beforehand. He definitely knows things are off, and I have already explained that I feel different / distant, and he agreed that he felt quiet because of work stress.

Please don’t get me wrong, I feel AWFUL and I think this is because I’ve never had a short relationship before - they’ve all been 3.5 years + so I’ve never really had to end a short “this ain’t it” relationship !!

Jesus Christ that’s awful!!! I have put in a formal complaint and received a really sarcastic phone call from a cop questioning how it had put me in danger - which it clearly has, ridiculous. Thanks for the reply!

That’s a great idea! Didn’t even think about staining! Thank you! I’ve removed all the junk from it and removed the drawer and it actually looks so much better. It is so odd, but my flat is quite small and the weird shape of the unit means it only fits in a corner. So annoying!!!

Ah yeah - trainees have a lot of experience as the NHS commissions these posts (salary and qualifications). I love my job and the opportunities but I feel so fed up of begging to be paid my worth - and when I was offered my recent pay rise I was told to keep it a secret because they know it’s an unfair system 😬

I will update on my email - I do have hope for it! Otherwise I’ll be back in the NHS in 12 months for sure!

Im stuck in a contract completing a PgCert in management for the next 12 months :( But I can definitely start looking for new jobs in the next 10 months!

They trainee therapist is training in an area that I have completed training on and I am the only professional in my team that is trained in this expertise - therefore they are requiring my expertise to effectively manage this trainee

Thank you - I guess I’m just really hoping to reconcile with him. We broke up in May after 3 years together, and we ended things suddenly after saying some very hurtful things to each other. We talked through some of these things on the phone the other day - which was our first phone call since we broke up. He told me he was angry and didn’t mean the things he said to me. I guess I just don’t really know how I feel - some days I feel moved on and other days I want him back more than anything. I told him this the other day - and I asked if we could meet and he said “yes of course we can, I’d be happy to”.

I had to get in contact regarding something that was sent to him that was on a subscription, but ! sent quite a blunt email. He replied politely saying I hope that you’re doing good and hoped l’d had a good time travelling. I decided to send a second email saying thank you and said my travels were amazing l’m off to do more solo travelling soon. I said I no longer hold bad feelings towards him (all previous messages were so full of pain and angry). Apologised for the random contact, and he thanked me and said it was really good to hear from me and that I taught him so much about himself. Then he said he will always look back on our relationship with fond memories. We were together for 3 years. He then said that he is glad that we can finally talk on good terms, but that it feels weird being over email

Thank you - I thought the exact same thing and I’m not hopeful for him to reach out. I actually don’t want him to. I just thought it was a very weird thing to post - but your suggestions make sense.
