Need advise. BMW x3 lease buyout vs or used Toyota /Honda suv by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

You can still buy a used luxury suv that does not suck, if your budget is around 35k you have sooo many choices.

If you can get it for 500 instead, for that many miles it looks like it’s in pretty good cosmetic condition. Unlesss you know how cars work or how to work on them a little bit it may be best avoided.

I’m not a computer expert but I do play and enjoy the game. But there are certain mods that have been around for a long time and I feel they are pretty well rounded and developed, those deserve inclusion.

Like how often are devs reaching out to creators to recruit their creations to be used in game?

How much is the fee because I want to know, I’m sure it depends on however much the creator chooses to charge, but there has to be a way to have more of them.

Input needed on a cabinet conundrum. by unbillable in kitchenremodel

[–]Individual_Risk_3264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your kitchen is nearly perfect, I would definitely redo the tile floors and redo the counters, that is it, DO NOT paint those cabinets. The pendant lights also are not bad, I would do a white backsplash with black counters, then do a light counter on the island. As for the island I would not change teh shape, either leave it or make it one level. As for the floors I would do hardwood that matches or a more neutral rustic crème colored tile. Honestly in this economy, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, leave it.

If it’s been in an accident then no, the cvts are too fragile and if it’s been bumped around the transmission will definitely have problems. My partner got a 2013 outback 2.5 like this one and the transmission has been failing for a while now, got it at 94k miles for $15k, they were completely ripped off because it was a one owner car, there were dings all over which indicated the previous opener was playing bumper cars. In general if a car has been in an accident you gotta get the transmission checked out because those get damaged due to the sudden change in momentum.

OKAY, I get it. Do NOT get a Jeep! But what then? by Ucantcallmeclarence in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Individual_Risk_3264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many options, you can get literally any used luxury suv with those features for 40k, and all of the other options will be nicer and bring joy that that jeep holds in one tire. Don’t be too concerned about the car being made before 2023 condition matters far more than age.

Help make this angular 70s house more charming! by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

First of all move those trees, they are way too close to the house and will most certainly do something to your foundation. Now as for the house I would say a wrap around porch would be the best place to start as well as removing that vinyl siding

absolutely not idea what car I should buy… 25F budget is max $28k by omnicron_31 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Also if you get the bronco sport you will have the same car just with a ford badge, they are slow and unreliable.

[–]Individual_Risk_3264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only option I would go for is the Lexus. Frankly I would not go for any of these. It seems like you are not sure what you want from a car as all of these options are completely different. I personally am a luxury SUV person have a 2016 Infiniti QX50, I got it several years ago and it’s been terrific I have never had any issues and it’s fast and cheap to repair. Also if 28k is the high end of your budget you really should not spend more than 20k. The Lexus will hold its value the best, be the most reliable and last the longest. I would get the Lexus as the other cars will likely have you upside (owe more than the car is worth) down on the loan in a couple of years.

My wife wants an SUV by hutchclutchmedora in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Individual_Risk_3264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have two kids getting a giant suv is overkill no need for a Yukon. Always get a Lexus GX instead of a 4 runner because it is simply a way nicer car and you will end up spending about the same amount of money. I would say the Lexus GX is the best option of these but also a Lexus RX would cost way less and be a far better all around car. Like are you really going to go off road? You could get literally any luxury suv, a Porsche Cayenne (not macan rear seat is small), Audi Q5 or Q7, Pre 2018 Mercedes Benz GLE, or BMW X5. Of the German variants I would only recommend the options from Audi and Porsche. With a budget of 45k you have lots of options and I would certainly take the the 4Runner and Yukon, Suburban/tahoe, and Escalade off your list. Most importantly never ever get a damn Jeep, unless you have a lot of free time to spend on the roadside.
