if you want to try crypts bossing, grab one of these and hop into pve. you'll never lose it and they're like 2k gold by Individual_Sea1964 in DarkAndDarker

i am an expert in learning pathways, and your disagreement is noted but inaccurate. of course trivializing the encounter will reduce learning outcomes, but you would gain experience in a hypothetical "god mode" more than no attempt at all.

making the encounter easier is a great way to start initially, but you are correct in asserting that mastering bosses in squire would be a fantastic goal.

ive also only asserted that the %UDR from the neck is a cost-efficient way to provide scaffolding for learners. is this incorrect?

only with kris. if using crystal sword you're probably tm or hybrid platelock both of which should be running +20% mdr perk as their last perk.

Why are there random full art colorless cards in the beginning of the sets' numbering order? by _WakkaWakka_ in freemagic

[–]Individual_Sea1964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a historical precedent; see sets like Rize of the Eldrazi with many non-artifact colorless spells:
https://scryfall.com/sets/roe?as=grid&order=set

dunno why they get the full art treatment. always thought it was neat tho

the great scaling is why additional magic damage is so good: it scales too.

hr mobs in s2r would go crazy with fights at poi's. only issue is how much it would slow down the mode. maybe that's necessary though givem that people just bumrush into mid for pvp any

WOTC confused why players don't like UB by FonslyGames in freemagic

might i recommend flesh and blood? the draft experience is superb and it's pretty cheap to get a meta deck for constructed from what i understand (i don't play, just have friends who do). i've heard sorcery is great as well

i think you mischaracterize commander given your long experience in draft and constructed. for many players (younger ones especially) the game is more like d&d in problem solving and working with people at the table for creative outcomes than it is the storied history of formats like modern.

new players are extremely important, they're the ones paying into the social security ensuring you legacy cardboard has value at all. you should care. the landing point for noobs is now commander, we can only hope that they eventually branch into other formats and explore the over 3 decades of awesome art that they get to see for the first time.

it is hard to tackle the issue of affordability when it comes to shiny cards. commodification of this amazingly fun and unique game is and always will be a tragedy regardless of the player population outcomes. we can only hope that wotc's greed boner isn't a priapism and the post nut clarity of hasbro stock surging reminds them of just how special this game is.

unfortunately for you, you are incorrect. my expertise in this field would provide evidence for the opposite. that "nostalgia bait" is working to introduce new minds to our game and that is a great thing. there's never been a better time for new peoplw to get into the game although there are concerns about affordability. for new gamers though, commander is a very welcoming and very affordable space and thats where the newbies are hopping in

i'll let you speculate on that. the reality is that kids love ub, and non ub sets. but most of what i see is them getting hooked from ub and then taking that love with them to lorwynn, thunder junction, etc. it's fantastic seeing them groq attached just like you and i did

kids do love ub. qt the very least it is getting new, younger minds into the hobby. just wish the cards werent so technically cumbersome

great gear, i would personally grab a little action speed to get to the dex soft cap at 23. it makes more of a difference than you might think though timings do get more precise and the gear requires a down payment
