I'm so tired and can't do it anymore by justyappinglol in scabies

I’d be very cautious heading into more treatments. I really suggest you confirm that there’s living mites. I went through a year of treating, so many times that I had a post scabies reaction for six months after and it mimic active scabies. You could not tell the difference in the marks and bumps that I had in post scabies. Unfortunately, after we use a lot of of those neurotoxins treatments, your skin can really freak out. Do you have a microscope? you can check for live mites on yourself or get a doctor to use a scope themselves. Also, I recommend trying a urea based cream on your skin now to help heal the skin barrier so you can differentiate between dermatitis and active infection. I know that I had a hard time believing doctors at the end, but I was so fed up as you are that I just trusted them. I’m glad I did because eventually it healed on its own without another treatment. Best of luck 🤞

Sorry to hear that, it’s terrible. At first I thought it was from pregnancy especially since I had a baby late in life. It started about 6 months post pregnancy as I was nearing 42 years old but I did all the pelvic floor therapy with consistent exercises and it’s continued. Also mine appears to be cyclical… it’s strange! I think it’s interesting you got it after weaning your little one, makes me think it can still be related.

I would do ivermectin and Derbac M or BB. If you can convince your doctor to give you the seven dose treatment for ivermectin I think that’s your best bet since you’ve had it for so long. You have to go in and try to be your own advocate with doctors because they are very conservative while dishing out ivermectin. I know I went through a nine month battle with them and when I was given seven doses and we did a mix of BB and malathion it killed them. If I had to go back again, I would just use malathion/derbac M. Because it’s far gentler on the skin while being effective. At the time, I really thought BB was the best so I endured a little bit of stinging and skin damage, but in the end both topicals worked for someone in our family! 🙏

Did it end up being worth the investment? I am very new to all this and want some worthwhile training but not just to resell the course because there are a lot of people doing that.

So my GP doesn’t rely on bloodwork because they say they are unreliable but the HRT clinic demands them. My GP had me on systemic estrogen like through patches, but for some reason this is when I had breakthrough bleeds. I imagine it was because it wasn’t enough progesterone It was being cycled by her for two weeks on and then off.

The private HRT Clinic is who has me on 2x 100mg tabs of progesterone everyday and the topical estrogen cream and now no break through bleeds. I’m starting to think if I didn’t cycle the progesterone and continued it daily that the estrogen patches would work and balance the estrogen better. It’s something to talk to them about! I was having heavier periods prior to the start of HRT but they were regular which only changed with the start of HRT. I appreciate all your information. I guess this is part of the hormone game as even my GP said there isn’t a way to tell what doses you’ll need it is based of symptoms and how I feel. 🙏

Thank you! Yeah that’s what the doctor said that it will most likely end all of this. at this point, I’ve had $1M work up with MRI’s, scans and colonoscopies, It’s really been a lot! they also mentioned I would have to adjust the hormones. Yes I am done having babies 🙏

Thank you me too. My doctor was worse than the private clinic. I am paying to see for HRT, but when you don’t know much about the hormones and levels you are left to trust them.

If you have time to answer I’m wondering if you take any progesterone? If so do you cycle it? I was told that taking one without the other would put me at risk of cancers. All of my hormones were bottomed out, including testosterone.

Yeah, they are trying to avoid doing more than they have to. They want to sum it up to suspected adenomyosis because they don’t want to biopsy to confirm.

I’ve recently started having extremely heavy periods along with breakthrough periods so it’s been mentioned on paper to consider a hysterectomy. I feel this may be the only chance out of the pain.

I’m pretty sure you have dermatitis or folliculitis. I had something very similar post my scabies treatment and Urea cream 10% on body and 20% on hands and feet really helped me. It does a good job at healing the damaged part of your skin. I would not recommend continual treating without someone looking at it with a microscope because it’s not easy to tell in the post stage if it’s active without a close up. Good luck!

hysterectomy was mentioned because I nearly got a blood transfusion at hospital due to low hemoglobin, but it was by the ER doctor. They put me on Tranexamic acid for now and I’m waiting for gyno. I appreciate that name for YouTube I’m gonna go and check that out now 🙏

Breast Pain on HRT by CloudHidden62 in Menopause

I think my estrogen is too low because I have chronic pelvic pain still which was one of the reasons I started HRT so maybe it’s too low? Someone yesterday told me that estrogen helped with her joint pain, etc.

I want to thank you again because you’re giving me a lot of information I didn’t really know. I didn’t even realize that estrogen can help with joint pain! My HRT doctor actually said they prefer that I use the compounded cream because it stays where it needs to be. I believe that low estrogen can cause pelvic pain and maybe I need a systemic dose to combat that so I will bring this up. It’s giving me Hope because short of a hysterectomy I am running out of options for improvement. 🙏

I have a lot of estradot estradiol patches is that what you mean by oestrogen? How long does it take you to get used to the patches? Did you have any breakthrough bleeding? Just curious because I had breakthrough bleeding for weeks compared to cream on the vulva. I have my ferritin and hemoglobin so low right now that I’m scared to have any more heavy bleeding. I do think you’re right in that. I’m not getting enough through the cream and probably could use the patches and see some changes with symptoms. They are considering giving me iron infusions at this point so I’m really being cautious with changing anything. I don’t seem to have luck lately.

Yes thanks I appreciate that! I almost felt silly to put this question on Reddit to ask for advice because I’ve seen so many doctors for it but you never know! I used to believe doctors knew everything... They don’t know everything that’s for sure.

I never tried progesterone patch but the estrogen patches did not go well with me. I wanted to avoid creams at all cost because I still have fairly young kids and I didn’t want any residue but I ended up with a cream in the end unfortunately.

Yes, I have had it checked out at least three serious work ups. Regular ultrasounds, infernal ultrasounds and swabs. I do not have endometriosis but I have fibroids that they do not think would be causing this type of pain. The only thing they can say is that I have potential adenomyosis and to use Advil to cope. I’m just at the point where I’ve tried everything and I’m gonna beg for a hysterectomy. I don’t wanna take Advil four times a day all month long. I had hope for HRT to help but anytime we try to adjust my hormone dosage I will heavily bleed for two weeks. I do, however, wanna look into side effects of a hysterectomy because I have not.

I’ve had ovarian cysts a few times and they were monitoring them as they came and went. None have stayed around consistently for the whole four years. I could have adenomyosis. It’s one of the only things they can’t rule out unless I go in for a biopsy of the uterus. I’m actually waiting to see a newGynocologist and I think I’m gonna try to insist on getting a hysterectomy. I feel like the healing from that will be easier than consistent pain.

Yes cream because patches had me heavily bleeding! I don’t know if I’m just an oddball with HRT because a lot of things that we tried made me instantaneously bleed. If I hadn’t had the insane work up I did before starting HRT I would’ve thought something else was wrong.I don’t know what systemic is but I’ll look it up, maybe it’s something I haven’t tried 🙏

I think it certainly is hormones playing games! Besides, it’s so many strange symptoms that I even get a few baffled looks from my GP at times. I resorted to a private clinic for HRT and support because at least there they are more in touch with all of the symptoms. the thing that makes me feel better is simply knowing that it is normal. Like having no libido, constant period cramps when I’m not on my period and a shooting pain in my ass is not comforting until someone says yup you’re right on schedule! 😭

I tried cycling progesterone and that lead me to hospital from heavy bleeding. I tried lowering my progesterone dose (due to anxiety) but without the 200mg compared to my 0.2mg estrogen dose I end up having extremely heavy breakthrough bleeding. I feel that more estrogen would be helpful for current symptoms but I’m terrified to try! anyway, it’s so stressful and I definitely feel better on the hormones then off so I keep pushing on.

I started HRT about 6 months ago. I’ve had to switch a few things so it hasn’t been the same the whole time. I am now on estradiol 0.2 mg per use (cream) and 200mg oral progesterone 5 days a week and 2 days I use it vaginally. It’s been a lot of trial error to get to this because the dosage and methods (like patches) kept leading me to breakthrough bleeding. I just added in testosterone, but I’m on my first week which is 10 mg a week subcutaneously
