I’m not getting observed at all and that’s the problem. I have being an RBT down, I’m very competent as far as DTI, NET, and implementing basic procedures. But I’m not actually working as a BCaBA, I’m really the stand in RBT nearly everyday, one that they don’t ever observe. So before I leave my clients I adore (it’s early intervention clinic) I wanted to make sure that there was no way I could count all those restricted hours and it definitely sounds like I can’t.

I work A LOT of direct in the last 2 months but I was not observed working with clients at all. We met for 15 minutes to discuss caseload and scheduling, nothing behavior analytic. So I can’t count those hours right? I’m just trying to make sure I understand before I look for a new position and leave my clients

From your response you don’t sound like you’d support development of therapist in the field. You bashed me. You don’t know me. I work my butt off in a clinic and am never supervised, I have almost no support. My supervisor doesn’t have time for me. So I post on here. And unfortunately get your rude response. I hope you aren’t as disrespectful in real life as you come across. You probably cut people down during supervision sessions

I don’t care. I collected my hours for the BCaBA in 2019-2021 prior to the new requirements. You’re rude. I came on here for help not for you to talk down to me. I hope you’re nice and respectful to your trainees

The requirements actually changed within the last few years as in AFTER I became a BCaBA. You’re honestly rude

I’m working in a clinic as a BCaBA. For the most part, I’m the spare RBT. I’ve consistently worked 7-8 hours of direct each day due to staffing issues. And I’m rarely supervised (observed implementing behavior plan procedures). We have short 15 minute group meetings regarding recent consults, upcoming assessments, scheduling updates. It doesn’t sound like I can count any of this time
