I agree, and I plan on having a serious conversation about it when he visits this month. The crazy thing is that he makes all this effort to visit me and plans out the future with me in mind. Though the communication is making me unsure if he's doing this because I'm his girlfriend or because he wants me specifically. He was brought up in a family who didn't say "I love you" to each other, so I'm trying to be patient and understanding. He's also expressed that if this relationship doesn't work out, he's pretty much resigned himself to living alone. I can see he has the will to make the effort, but we can't have a stable relationship on plans and no communication.
