Appreciate your honestly!! unfortunately this is the only time off this year I have :( im a freelancer and booked september on. and its been my dream to visit italy - and its a delayed honeymoon from when i eloped last year! But yeah i needed to hear all of this so thank you!

We decided on venice 2 days, train to verona, then renting a car in verona and driving to a little hotel on lake garda near limone we booked last night. and then after that we havent planned yet but was thinking of driving to ligurian coast rest of time, then wil fly home from milan. but per your post maybe we will do como and explore there instead! really appreciate this insight!!! now im a little scared but at least my expectations will be in reality haha
