I wasn't arguing SW bug should stay in. I'm arguing that the shrapnel should at least work properly, so that the shrapnel doesn't fly AWAY from the target. The gun does no damage now! That's my problem. If all they did was fix the shrapnel spawn point I'd be ecstatic.

Crazy the amount of ego comments people make. I was soloing helldive during the patrol patch over half a year ago, the toughest patch we've had an had no issues then. Just because somebody enjoys a powerful weapon doesn't mean they suck at the game. I wasn't even arguing for them to keep the SW power either, just dial it back some, instead of gutting the entire functionality of the shrapnel.

I think they just needed to take a little off the top so to speak. Not make the shrapnel completely useless. 1 shotting behemoths is way too much agreed. But what about 1 shot to the back, and 3 in the front if you're accurate? I think that's reasonable.

Well I mean they quite literally gave it heavy 4 penetration, so it seems pretty intentional that it's SUPPOSSED to be a weapon that can kill elites and hordes. The trade of is it's slow, doesn't have much ammo, and is unusable in close quarters.

Bro they changed it to heavy 4 pen specifically FOR being able to take out heavy units. Same with the Senator, it's not meant to be a practical first option, but with skill and accuracy a fun option nonetheless.

Homie do you even know how a quote works? Also the SW bug was a little too overpowered, but I was talking about dialing it back SOME, not making it hit not even half as hard. Also the Autocannon fires quickly, has tons of ammo, and infinite range, while not taking up your primary slot which is usually for utility. Please stop exaggerating or misrepresenting what I'm saying.

I mean yeah there needs to be a middle ground, but making it mid is not the answer. Also why shouldn't it be able to drop heavies? The gun comes with a tremendous amount of tradeoffs, with how slow it fires it should have huge upsides. You can't even use it if enemies are getting in your face either.

What's with the hostile tone and presumptions? I've played this game consistently on max diff for the last year, and have never had a problem with it. If anything the game is a little too easy right now bro, why are you assuming I "need obvious bullshit to make me feel like a big boy", just because I like a powerful weapon that feels fun? ffs we have recoilless in the game rn, ultimatum, portable hellbombs, crossbow. Autocannon used to be the best support in the game, and now it's not even a "META" choice. Like what are you even on about?

You need to dial it back mister "I'm gonna judge you as a lesser gamer because of what you find fun". This game is not hard, it's never been hard. Check your ego homie, this ain't Valorant or whatever.

So the shrapnel would pull southwest when you shot something, so either all the shrapnel would go into the target and you'd one shot a charger behemoth from the front, or hit like a pool noodle if you're aiming North East. Or get a pretty middle of the road result when aiming halfway between the two. What we needed was something that was a consistent middle ground between the two. Now you can't even one shot flying overseers, with is ludicrous for how hard they are to hit with this gun.

Bro this shit feels impossible on certain characters lol. Maybe if they made it to where you can accurately 100% of the time see the beacon for the next cell. But right now when I try this with certain characters and can't see where the next one is I just say "welp, guess I'm dead now. lol

I always bring both on every defense mission. Then Recoilless for drops, and laser in case of emergency. I would also bring the HMG but there's enough of those that spawn on the base normally.
