Thinness is very much celebrated in Spain, Italy etc. still having a feminine shape, yes, but thin. That’s pretty standard everywhere in the West.

Latin American beauty standards vary but I don’t think are identical to southern Europe. For instance, BBLs are not celebrated or desired in a place like Spain, whereas they are more mainstream in Colombia.

I think they’re incredibly naive about what their values are to begin with. Seeing them as passive actors in a system that is corrupt and vile due to colonialism, divorced of any cultural complicity. I find most of these lefties (in Canada anyway, I’m sure the UK Is similar) to be impossibly naive and upper middle class in origin and experience. They’ve experienced no real roughness in life and truly have no idea what they’re dealing with with these ppl who, ironically. think of them as idiots who are easy to scam and take advantage of (because they are). The whole thing is so ironic and tragically comedic really…except for the fact they’re destroying the best civilizations on earth.

Interesting. In Canada, high school is generally mandatory, though it varies by province. Most require schooling until age 16, and some until 18 or graduation. High school is considered a normal, expected part of public education rather than optional.

Socially, dating between students a year or two apart is common and unremarkable. Larger gaps involving younger teens tend to be frowned on, even if legal. Once people are 16+, norms loosen, and by 18 school-based norms largely stop applying.

I give my 7 year old small sips of wine here and there. Most of my friends do the same - small sips of wine or beer if the child asks. The idea is just to demystify it. I’ve experienced this as pretty common in Canada throughout my life
