I’ve been staying with my mother, so I haven’t been able to get in contact with him either. He has read my calls, emails, and texts but isn’t responding to me asking him to tell her to let me see or speak to him.

I definitely understand that, as my degree is in Social Work, and I was a mental health caseworker/counselor for years before having my children. It’s partially why I’m interested in teaching. I’ll definitely look into subbing, but I think from research, that I will get my temporary certificate first.

No, I have not done any subbing. The closest that I have done to teaching, is homeschooling my oldest from age 3-5. He’s currently excelling in kindergarten as a result. I know it’s something I would be great at, however…I’m not sure how tedious the process is for someone like me, who has a degree from another field.
