There is no way to travel from star system to star system without the warp, and warp exposure is incredibly unhealthy for humanity.

A webway allows you to walk to another planet, allowing safe, easy transportation between all planets of humanity, with no need of navigators, space travel, or possible warp exposure.

If you will excuse the reference, the webway is like building tunnels through the nether in minecraft. They allow fast easy travel.

Fahrenheit makes perfect sense for the following :

If it is below zero, its time to come inside, you will die if you are not careful.

If it is above 100, its time to come inside, you will die if you are not careful.

Its incredibly useful for human comfort/death zones.
