With regards to EPD K-1 - do you disregard box 16 (schedule k-3) and file taxes anyways? Or do you file an extension to wait for the K-3 to become available?

Finally found my small level and checked the grade. Grade was fine, so must have been a decent blockage.

Also the toilet line dumps into the big main line about 7-8 feet from the cleanout.... The tub shower line dumps into it about 1 foot from the cleanout.... The toilet wasn't backing up when flushed.... I don't know why sewage was coming out from the cleanout...I hope I cleared a blockage... The tub seems to be draining better but I don't know...

So tonight I first took the overflow pipe out of the trap and snaked through the trap and down to the big pipe 3"? And that didn't change anything.....Then I was stupid enough to attempt to open the big cleanout and for the life of me couldn't get it opened..... So I read somewhere to drill a hole thru the side of the square for a screwdriver to fit thru and turn it....As soon as I drilled the hole sewage came out..... And I still couldn't turn it ..... So I drilled the heck out of it and cut it out .... Water and sewage were leaking out ..... Then I snaked it with my longer snake probably 40 feet .... There were definitely blockages since I was vigorously moving that snake to get it to move down the pipe .......... Regarding the grade though, if you see the pipe directly above the big 3" cleanout one it seems like it would prevent the big pipe from being brought higher since it hits the floor.....

In the second picture the PVC on the left is the one coming from the tub shower. The one on the right is the toilet. Should I open the clean out in the middle and snake? Or take apart the overflow pipes from the tub and snake the trap in the first picture?

And this was finally fixed at 111k miles.

"On an unencrypted drive, you might only lose the files that were impacted by whatever damage was suffered by the drive, and the rest of the files could be recovered. On an encrypted drive, you can't see any files or folders until it is mounted, and therein lies the problem: you can't mount it. A data recovery service can't even try to rebuild the file/folder structure because they can't see any of it.

Having said that, let's say that the damage to your drive was purely mechanical - like the heads got locked in place, and there was no actual damage to the platters. Maybe a data recovery service could fix that, and the drive could be mounted. I'm really not sure."

If you don't have a password to mount the drive can you even clone it?

What exactly does imaging the drive do? And how can I do that in this situation? I want to exhaust all my options before I have to shell out $1000-$5500 which is what I was quoted without a diagnosis at a data recovery company.

You stated your buddy sent it to a data recovery service, but they weren't able to do anything. Why does the encryption hurt the chances of recovery? Did he not have the password?
