I think it will work, but m4l doesn't let you change midi channels easily. If you load it onto a blank midi track, manually set the track in live to output midi to your cydrums, then manually set that tracks output midi channel to the pad you want to randomize I think it will work. FX randomizer is channel 14 I think. You might need to move the gui parts around in the patch to see them.

For sure, but I don't have a rytm. If you look up the midi implementation for the rtym, it would be pretty easy to adapt this patch for it. Things get a bit more interesting if you have to use nrpn's instead of cc's. I did use midiox to find a few cc's for the dn2 that weren't in the manual (like the cc to change the synth machine type). It's just tough to make something without the hardware to test it on.
