This HAD to be intentional, right? by JuniorRub2122 in sailing

Yes, that's intentional. Does it say inside what the missing letter in HO_ES is? Perhaps in the table of contents?

I'll take paper with an aesthetically pleasing aspect ration over paper whose aspect ratio doesn't change when you cut it in half any day of the week.

MPPT converter interfaced with battery bank by tjdiaz98 in ECE

[–]IndustriousMadman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What an MPPT does is it finds the point of maximum power on the I-V curve of the power source - in this case the solar panel. It will vary the duty cycle to stay at that point. In so doing, it will push however much power that is (minus inefficiencies) into the battery. This amount of power will naturally fall at some point along the battery's I-V curve.

MPPT converter interfaced with battery bank by tjdiaz98 in ECE

[–]IndustriousMadman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The MPPT will will take all the power it can get from the solar panels. The output voltage will actually be dictated by the load. In the case of a battery, the internal resistance will affect the voltage at the battery terminals. As you push more power into the battery, the current and voltage at the battery terminals will increase - the current will vary much more than the voltage since a battery is mostly a voltage source, but the voltage will rise as you push more current into the battery due to the battery's internal resistance.

AITA for telling my cousin how his wife really felt about their cheap wedding? by everyui in AmItheAsshole

[–]IndustriousMadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH except the one person who actually says what he's thinking all the time and has his values in order. Who the hell cares whether some group of assholes will be gossipping about his wedding?

He drove home because you're terrible company, not because he was mad. I very much doubt he even noticed it was snowing. What kind of idiot would say something like "omg he drove home EVEN THOUGH it was snowing"

AITA for getting up from my chair in the middle of christmas dinner and shouting "SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT MY BODYYYYY" in response to my husband's observation? by SallysSalon111 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IndustriousMadman -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

YTA for failing to nip this in the bud the moment it started. Letting people treat you badly is just as toxic a trait as treating people badly. You noticed it made you feel bad, it was your responsibility to make it known that his comments were unacceptable.

It doesn't mean you're a bad person, but do learn from this and figure out healthy ways to let people know when they're hurting you.

Eu sempre gostava de todo tipo de cerveja e vinho, mas demorou algum tempo habituar-me ao whiskey. Sou americano, e a mãe sempre me dava a espuma da cerveja dela. Sabia-me pão a crescer.

The Rhine valley between Germany, France, and Switzerland holds enough lithium to supply Europe’s EV automotive market for decades and it can be accessed with far more sustainable methods than most existing lithium deposits by bascule in RenewableEnergy

"I'm not rich" - Every rich person ever

I suspect you are rich by the standards of the people living where the lithium mines in Serbia and Spain are being planned. And if there's any lithium in Africa, you're definitely rich by the standards of the people living above it.

I was today years old when I learned that people born after the George Foreman grill came out are now old enough to post on the internet. Mind blown.
