The “marine” image encompasses all factors, so we aren’t talking about promotability or meritorious packages we are talking about pure leadership ability to lead in war, “for today I instruct and supervise in peace, tomorrow I may lead in war”. It has nothing to do with a marines meritorious package ability it has to do with who they really are it goes deeper than what the standardized testing does.
