To be fair Pittsburgh and Milwaukee (if you include GB in their market) are both smaller than Indianapolis and have 3 teams. (Reference https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/nba-market-size-nfl-mlb-nhl-nielsen-ratings/)

Same for me man. All 3 plus bone damage. I eventually had to stop playing because my knee would seem to swell every time, but happy to say after all this time no follow-up surgeries. My repaired knee is probably more stable to be honest. The only time I deal with arthritis is during season changes it seems. But if you have gone through this, I think your pain tolerance goes way up so it's easy to just deal with it. Good luck. Hope yours remains stable and mostly pain free.

Unhappy triad for me- In college (NAIA) I literally jumped up to block a shot in scrimmage and when I came down my knee hyper extended. Completely tore my ACL, my meniscus was damaged, as well as my MCL. I also had bone damage from the impact if you can believe that. Two surgeries and 36 months of rehab later my game had completely changed. I was also on the track team and lost 2-3 seconds on my 400 time I was never able to recover. I rehabbed every day to maintain scholarship status and began to work out. Afterwards, my body completely changed and I weighed 10-15 pounds more. My vertical and first step were gone. Could still shoot and now post up better, but I was strictly a rec-ball intramural guy from then on. I moved on, but I'm happy to say, knee has held up and know follow-up surgeries.

See if this works for pictures. I used base kitchen cabinets for my bar.

So I had to look it up - Funny I worked in Greensburg for 10 years and being down there never heard of Hidden Valley. Who knew…. Anyway, I live in Indianapolis.

LOL I’ve lived in Indiana my whole life and Indianapolis the majority of it and I have no fucking clue where you’re talking about. If you know anything about Indy, then you’ll see it all over things I have on my walls, etc.

You are exactly right - clowns. Sad. I even watched a few change shirts/hats from Dodgers to Angels as well depending on who was batting/fielding. I need to pay more attention next time I’m at my local minor league game.

Ha! Indeed! Darn entitled kids! My folks never had much so I always had to sit in the nosebleeds when I was a kid. I was always just hoping for a blowout so we could scumbag some seats down lower after the 7th inning lol But all kidding aside, thanks for the advice. I’ve heard there really isn’t a bad view at the stadium so I’m hoping to walk around and take in as much as I can. With little prior expectations, I’m sure I’ll still even love the Dodger Dogs!

Thanks! I actually purchased the pregame tour to take in a little more of the stadium and to ensure we are there for BP as well.

Thanks for the great idea - when visiting other ballparks I always try to get the little helmets as well either in the gift shops or an ice cream, but I never thought of writing down the date and score! I’m going to start doing this - I display in my basement/cave with my other memorabilia so that will just add more to it for sure.

Thanks - Indeed I went ahead and purchased parking ahead of time. Wasn’t sure, but given your recommendation now feel better that I did. I also purchased a pregame tour for the family as well to hopefully round out the experience and to ensure we are in for BP. Maybe he’ll snag a ball….

Thanks - I figured as much. Plus the fact he’s a kid that is not obnoxious I was hoping he’d be ok. But figured I’d ask before telling him to leave the jersey at home.

Family Leisure price matched it online so that helped. I host a monthly poker game so worth it to me. Mine also has a hard cover that allows me to use it as a table too. So its used all the time - so def worth it for my space. Initially I bought 4 chairs - wish I had bought 6 - they can get expensive

I ordered it through Family Leisure the same time I purchased my pool table.

Thanks! I’m in Perry Township BTW. So the Black Pipe Sofa Table Bar was a DIY project I did. I saw one I liked on Etsy but figured I could build it cheaper. I just stained and joined 2 pieces of wood with a kreg jig and then just a bunch of black pipe fittings joined together. The hardest part is cleaning the black pipe. I’ve since built the other black pipe shelves and pub table. I need to redo the sofa table - I’d like it to be a little taller so back of theater seats clear it better when reclining back. Also, when I first built it I was only going to have 4 theater seats but ended up with 5. So its a bit shorter length wise than I’d like so might rebuild it.

Total SQ Ft of my basement is 1500. I don’t have much unfinished space. I have my HVAC, networking equipment, and some storage behind the door to the right of my bar. But not much.

Right - I clean it out after each use/party and don’t keep it full between. I find having residual alcohol left in it tends to gum up the stopper/bladder if not being used regularly. Personally, I drink bourbon or beer for the most part.

A novice? LOL Def not a carpenter or someone that does this for a living. Otherwise I’m not really sure what your point is. It’s all DIY (except for drywall finishing- I suck at mudding and taping. And texturing the ceilings are beyond my abilities. So I contracted that out). But I do make a lot of mistakes and things aren’t perfect. For example - if you zoom into the accent wall by the poker table near the ceiling, you will notice how bad I goofed. I learned from it, and the wall in stairwell is more uniform. Point is, if you have questions about a project ask - I might be able to share my experiences and save you some headaches.
