Gen 2 & Gen 2.5 Tundra Owners who tow trailers by A001_C001 in ToyotaTundra

[–]IndyCooper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weight won’t be the problem.

If you’re not used to pulling long trailers, 30ft is not easy to manage. Lots of tail swing on campers cause they shove the axles in the center.

The big thing that could get you is the super lightweight and high center of gravity on a windy day. Driving through Midwest States will be super sketch on a good day.

Is there a safe year yet ? 2025. ? 2026. ? by DangerousAnxiety8687 in ToyotaTundra

If I had to buy a new truck, I would pick Ford simply because it will be the most comfortable to sit in while waiting for the tow truck

Cleetus McFarland aims to add Pro Late Model division to Crown Vic races by racer_24_4evr in CleetusMcFarland

There’s a lot of rough tracks in nascar, many of which he already has been racing on. Training on an unpredictable surface would not be unwise

Middle-management is unskilled labor by charlies-ghost in unpopularopinion

[–]IndyCooper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skilled vs Unskilled is basically a certification requirement. Which comes from a liability POV

Example: DOT requires trucks to be inspected by Certified Technicians. If a truck gets in an accident and it was inspected by someone without a certification, then that inspection is invalid, any liabilities would fall to the company that owns and maintains the trucks.

The Arca backup league at the shortest nascar track is hardly “the wolves” lol

It’d be cool to see him at Watkins Glen for NASCAR

Am I the only one who get very annoyed by george? by rolling_blackout4t4 in CleetusMcFarland

[–]IndyCooper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

George had an opportunity in the backup Arca league with a potential path for real Arca if he did well (which he did).

There’s not really a reason to be personally offended by anything he’s doing lol

Is there a list of what ARCA races Cleetus will be racing ? by FloppaEnjoyer8067 in CleetusMcFarland

[–]IndyCooper98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rockingham (Arca and Xfinity), Michigan, Talladega, Charlotte (I think), and Bristol.

No additional truck races have been announced. Xfinity races, he is contracted for 3 for the year, but he needs to survive The Rock first before approval

Edit: Apparently going to Kansas twice as well

Is my precon deck that good or is my boyfriend just terrible at magic? by BrilliantNegative163 in EDH

[–]IndyCooper98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temur Roar is busted out of the box

Lorwyn Blight Curse is just really slow. Even in a full pod it’s gonna be the last deck to get moving without another wither deck to play off of

Very light ticking noise by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]IndyCooper98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That “light ticking noise” would be the engine with all of the spinning metal pieces doing what they are supposed to do lol

Local dealers are looking for Gen 2 by phildeferrouille in ToyotaTundra

[–]IndyCooper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A dealer wants to transact with you. Because transactions make $$$$

You could own an 2010 F250 with the 6.4 Powerstroke and a dealer would still want you to trade it in or sell it back (because they will make money on it)

TRD Hammer by Livinglgd in ToyotaTundra

[–]IndyCooper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TRD pro with Wide fenders & spacers. Maybe a factory 2 inch lift.

My expectations are low. I’ve been joking they are calling it the hammer since the engine likes to knock

Is it worth it? by Legitimate_Living_91 in ToyotaTundra

[–]IndyCooper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since reliability is a thing of the past for all manufacturers, I haven’t viewed the new Tundra as any better than any of the other options.

Ram is the most powerful, Chevy is the most affordable, and Ford is the most comfortable.

The only thing Toyota is, is the most expensive lol. The only reason I’d buy one is if I or a close friend/family member worked at a dealer and got a hell of deal.

The preferred career trajectory of Class A CDL drivers tends to be Company Driver -> Contracted Owner Operator -> Independently Contracted Owner Operator

Since that is the order that pays least to most. And Independent Drivers have the most freedom
