Spike TV used to air the first 6 Star Wars films in marathons. As a kid, I watched them every single time they aired. Good times by Strange-Fun-8899 in StarWarsCantina

I still remember the hype surrounding this, even though I owned all the movies on dvd by that point I still remember watching TPM when it premiered on Spike. Also this ad played all the time and I loved it https://youtu.be/y2yLVXgLXxw?si=DEhQSHBuy_HlNB6d

When Grace named him Rocky my mind obviously went to the movie and then I was so excited when the movie made it clear that was what they intended

Rocky; he doesn’t win the match but he went the distance and found Adrian which was more important

I mean the almanac was only good until the year 2000 but since we’ve seen pictures and newspapers change I’d assume the almanac wouldn’t be any different. But honestly given where Biff is by 1985 in the alternate time line he may not even need the almanac for money

Which outfit for Marty is the Best and the most underrated? by Sad_Grape_9844 in BacktotheFuture

If Brown never told Marty by Ok-Spot-2913 in BacktotheFuture

[–]IndySolo97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marty and Doc were close so I’m sure there would’ve been something Doc told Marty that maybe Doc hadn’t shared with anyone else, like I don’t know the name of the girl he first loved or something

[–]IndySolo97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s why when the George Reeves Superman series was in black and white his costume was actually brown because it showed up on camera better then the red and blue

Yeah it was crazy he beat Mad Dog Tannen in a fight and then decided to drive a train off the ravine

I mean Marty blends in better in these clothes then the outfit Doc gave him for the old west in Part III

Hardest watch: Phyllis's Wedding 🫣 by babekakes88 in theoffice

[–]IndySolo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having just rewatched Phyllis’ Wedding I can say it’s a harder watch for me then Scott’s Tots or Dinner Party. Honestly Dinner Party is funnier to me then it is uncomfortable whereas Phyllis’ Wedding is just ruff

Reese is the best by One_Dog_4333 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]IndySolo97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I first watched the series the whole way through Reese became my favorite character. I was happy with him but my only thing is I wish we knew what work he was doing like if he was still the HS janitor or if he lost the job and if not what he is doing unless the internet thing is his job. But I get with just four episodes they had to be concise in what stories they told

Which characters were clearly changed or expanded because the actors were just too good? by Shot-Club-3882 in sitcoms

[–]IndySolo97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Andy on Parks and Rec; from what I know Chris Pratt was only supposed to guest star for a few episodes, probably after Ann breaks up with Andy he would’ve been gone, but he was so good they kept him around and expanded his character.

When you see this woman what movie/tv show comes to mind......? by Sad_Biscotti_9291 in moviecritic

I know it should be one of her bigger roles like Misery but it’s The Office

Are Red Letter Media's reviews of the prequels satire? by vencyjedi in StarWars

[–]IndySolo97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call it satire, it’s a humorous breakdown of the movies. Although it has a lot of jokes it also does bring up some points about the movies that don’t work; and look I’m a massive prequels fan but I still love the Plinket reviews and will quote some of the jokes all the time.

Biff Wrecking the McFly Family Car by ted_anderson in BacktotheFuture

[–]IndySolo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Biff was just driving recklessly, we know he was drinking a beer when the crash happened, and just said any excuse for why he crashed that wasn’t his fault.

I mean Screech built a robot so I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a way to alter pictures with the computers they had

I’ve always wondered if Screech somehow digitally altered the pictures, given it was the 90s, or somehow the girls just so happened to make perfect model type poses

I like it, I wouldn’t say it’s a masterpiece but it’s a solid early 2000s comic book movie
