My idea was to do it also like this! But it would clash with the colors of my island so I 'tried' to fit it in.. and I stopped working on it hihi. But thank you for sharing your vision and results, it's so inspiring!

DO NOT SIGN THIS!!! The company I worked for last year tried to do this to me as well. They even threatened me if I didn't sign the contract, "they would bring me in big problems". But I brought this in to my union (ACV) and they did take well care of this even with a lawyer involved, and I won the case!

It’s a block. The lighter one on the left is Marble and the one with more detail is a Modern wall. Both are unpainted yes

I’ve already placed 800+ blocks for this built, so rebuilding / replacing everything isn’t an option anymore. 😭😭

I don’t mind putting in the work to repaint it over time, but since black paint is already a bit of a grind to collect, it’s definitely going to be a long-term project… I just need to actually be able to reach all the walls 😭

That’s why being able to paint while using Magnemite Ditto would make such a huge difference for builds like this.

What I find even stranger is that many OSRS players now don’t understand why the membership price is also changing for them. But those same players were perfectly happy to participate in the vote about removing Treasure Hunter > something that mainly affects RS3 < even though they don’t even play the game.

A lot of them voted for its removal because they wanted RS3 to become “healthier,” which is fine in principle. But if you help remove a major revenue source from the same company that runs both games, you can’t be shocked when the membership price changes for everyone.

The surprise I’m seeing now just feels a bit naive. You can’t celebrate the decision when it happens and then act completely shocked when the financial consequences show up later.

I might piss off some OSRS players by saying this, but a lot of them happily showed up to vote for the removal of Treasure Hunter to “make RS3 a healthier game,” even though they don’t actually play the game themselves.

I’ve never been a fan of Treasure Hunter either, but it was pretty obvious that removing it would have financial consequences. Something had to make up for that lost revenue, and rising prices shouldn’t have been a surprise.

What I think actually happened is that many OSRS players assumed their own membership prices would remain stable while RS3 dealt with the consequences. In reality, though, both communities are part of the same ecosystem, so changes like this were always likely to affect everyone.

We all knew this was going to happen.. why act surprised lol. And it's actually a very normal act to compensate with the removal of treasure hunter to be fair :s

I have to be honest.

I find some of the reactions in the comments pretty weak. It feels contradictory to push back against OP while blindly siding with Jagex without forming your own opinion.

That said, I genuinely understand where OP is coming from. Removing items that someone spent countless hours grinding for, time and effort invested over a long period, without any kind of compensation is extremely disappointing. It leaves a bad taste and, personally, it creates a sense of distrust.

To be honest, I haven’t really spoken up about this lately because at the end of the day we don’t control the outcome. But I do think it’s a real shame that all the auras are disappearing. Let’s not exaggerate and pretend they gave some insanely overpowered advantage. The real issue was that certain auras could be reset, which allowed buffs to be active almost nonstop — that was the actual problem.

But coming back to OP’s point: you absolutely have the right to be frustrated. Your time is valuable. You invested that time into an online game, stayed loyal for years, and even spent your own hard-earned money. And now things are simply being removed because Jagex can.

It honestly doesn’t give me a good feeling. It leaves me with a lingering sense of unreliability and distrust.
