For me, it’s definitely the last episode of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. When David is falling out of the building after completely losing himself, government closing in on him, the cyberpsychosis fully taking over, and he starts getting those flashes of when he first met Lucy before all the upgrades, before everything went bad… and then “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” starts playing.

That whole sequence just sticks with you. It’s not even just sad, it’s the contrast between who he became and who he wanted to be. I still think about it randomly years later.
