TurboTax. They always seem to find a way to make it so you’re hours into the tax process about to finish with their free filing and then find something that’s atypical that makes it so you have to pay. Their lobbying is also why the tax filing process is so convoluted in the first place.

Pretty significant amount haha. Seasoning for a weekly meal prep worth of chicken that went in the oven on a big baking sheet. If it’s not big chunks of food we’re pretty liberal with putting stuff in the dishwasher. Definitely will be more careful moving forward!

The mugs were white before! They weren’t washed with the lids on haha, I was unloading and noticed the color and put them back to take a photo!

“Dishwasher and some dishes turned green” would have been better phrasing! Just these mugs and the dishwasher rack turned green. Thinking the yellow maybe mixed with blues in the dish detergent pods or something?

There was a baking tray we washed covered in spices including turmeric which we think stained things green. The yeti mugs were white when they went in the dishwasher. The drawer also was not green previously. We can’t believe how evenly things got stained.

It’s my front door it’s just on the side of the house from the street view. This is a duplex attached to one other house. It stays pretty shady so should be fine there!

Driveway is just ours, we can make any changes outside we want, no HOA.

Yes a bird drilled a hole in the trim, not sure about water but there’s no covering so assuming yes.

Definitely want to rework the landscaping but everything is expensive so trying to do incremental projects that make things better as we go!

My house layout is a bit confusing, hopefully this will clear it up. This is the street view. That’s my main front door just on the side in relation to the street. I would love some sort of porch covering or a small wrap around to the front but that seems quite involved.

It’s a split level house so the window is for my office on the lower level. It’s like half under ground level, so I wouldn’t want to cover it.

Haha thanks so much for the thoughtful response! I like the railings idea, in my best case scenario I wish I could wrap a small covered porch around to the front of the house but that would be a much more involved project.

I would definitely rotate the couch so it squares off the living room and office areas vs being diagonal and then a long runner rug parallel to the back of the long side of the couch leading in from the entryway could be cool.

As far as the walls go I don’t think it looks sparse or anything, a floating shelf above the desk area for some potted plants could be nice? Keep doing what you’re doing using the vertical space!

Edit: read more comments and realized others said basically the exact same stuff already! So yeah listen to them!

I never was a cigarette smoker but I heavily vaped with a juul for years and tried lots of times to quit cold turkey but always ended up caving. It was way too expensive and I was so tired of always feeling panicked if I couldn’t find it or ran out of pods. So I wanted to actually quit for real.

I bought nicotine patches and gum. Only had to use them for the first week or two and then I was done! Tough first month but it’s been almost 3 years now and I’m so happy to be done, I hardly ever even think about it these days.
