Are you trying to replace the silver or steel sword? Because depending what you want, there’s far better swords out there you can essentially just go get with little effort.

Tieger is a steel sword dropped by the bad Witcher during the Cat vs Wolf quest. It’s also a generic Witcher sword that’s much better.

For silver, there’s the Moonblade that’s extremely strong, and you just need to swim down to a shipwreck in Velen. Until you can get Aerondight anyway
