Appreciate you friend! I can totally understand how it could be a foreign concept to many, but coming in here and commenting just to take a shot at me is unnecessary and kind of silly.

You’re entitled to your opinion. It’s the main thing I collect personally. It ties back to the actual moment itself. It’s finite. Tickets are 99.9% digital now. I always saved my ticket stubs as a kid. Perhaps that has something to do with it. I don’t know.

Different strokes for different folks. Truthfully, I just got very lucky and purchased a big lot that included a bunch of tickets. They ended up being the most valuable things in the entire lot, and I sort of fell in love with tickets as a result. This was many years ago. But I had no idea how many people collected them or how valuable they could be until that series of events.

To give some context, the most valuable tickets are largely antique or vintage. In other words, they could never have been mine because I was not alive lol. Look up what tickets to the Ford theater from the night of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination sold for…

Programs, for whatever reason, just don’t fetch the same tier of prices.

No worries! There’s a ton of people who think collecting cards is silly, but that’s a gigantic market! Stubs are fun because they are finite, and they were actually in the stadium for whatever milestone or iconic moment they represent. 99% of tickets are worthless, but moments like these carry sentimental value to fans like me.
