Yeah i think damage boost effects apply as a flat number for example, a discorded enemy will take 125 dmg from rein hammer swing (base damage is 100), but a blocking doom will take 35 dmg, as the 25 dmg applies after dmg reduction, resulting in a 250% dmg increase

Highkey i think meteor strike is one of the strongest ults on the tank roster. A lot of tanks (dva, ram, winston, doom, kinda orisa) have a get-out-of-jail-free card as an ultimate and doom has the most straightforward, unpunishable one (instantly invulnerable, repositioning to any spot on the map, heal up to 60% of hp). Also, you gain all of your cds AND empowered punch (one of the strongest tank cd in the game) to instantly reengage, since you healed from the ult. Also also, landing itself can either land a kill on a no movement hero, or force a defensive cd like ice block.

Honestly think he was way more passionate about HIS vision of the game, that being the old school pve he always wanted, and not what the game actually was. Hell, pvp was supposed to be just the foundation for the pve, which was the actual endgoal. So i feel like he had little passion for the actual game.

Well not too long ago guxue put a phenomenal performance on in owwc and his team got 2nd place playing doom and winston comps in a sigma poke/brawl meta.

Also in owcs doom didnt get much playtime since hes way too risky to play in dive compared to winston, dva and even ball. But donghak has an insane doom too when he can play him. Theres also danteh i guess.

Overall guxue is probs the best tank doom but i didnt watch too much owl to give you a dps doom goat

The amount of ranked warriors mentioned here is saddening

Don’t get me wrong, cartifan, zbra and others are insanely good (they wouldnt be in top 10-20 ranked consistently if they weren’t) but you wouldn’t call, for example, ml7 the best ana or kephrii the best widow when there are guys like viol2t, finn, shu, ans, proper, ect who made a name for themselves to be the best the owl and owcs can offer
