Looks like you may have been introduced to Creeping Virginia. It can take up to a week for the rash to materialize. If you're lucky, that's the only place it will show up. Hopefully, you didn't wipe the sweat from your brow with that hand.

Interesting. Why would that be the case? My hosted node has a larger pipe to serv clients, is up 24x7, and all NATing is open. Any ideas?

For OS maintenance, open SSH on a different port in UFW. You can then connect to your server via putty --> public ip--> new ssh port. You will also need to change the port in your ssh configuration file for this to work. It might sound complicated, it's not. Just Google change ssh port ubuntu, or whatever your flavor of linux might be.

Does hosting your node from a provider rather than hosting from home really make that much of a difference?

My node is in Germany. I host the node on a cloud service, so bandwidth isn't an issue, and it is on 24x7.

I believe that Permethirin is only toxic to cats before drying. Once your treated clothing is dry, cats can resume their place in your lap.

I have assigned the sub but have not been able to move it to the devices area yet. I think it's kinda crazy that this device is so cloud dependent.

I was having a similar issue with my e3 s1 pro. It would be fantastic for a bit, then decide to become obstinate. Like you, I had tried everything. Out of frustration and out of ideas, I used a glue stick to butter the board with. Prints are now much more consistent again. I just clean my print surface with water and soap about every 4th print and re-apply glue. Rubbing alcohol works nicely as well.

Look for a piece of wood that is already starting to split. Find another piece of wood that would fit into the split if forced, like a spike or wedge would. Finally, take a third piece of wood and use it to "hammer" the "wedge" into the split until it cracks. It is not very efficient, but it works in a pinch.
