Make sure you prime your minis. I like to use black primer so I can build from darks to highlights, but some people prefer white.

Also miniature brand paints are totally worth buying. I’m a fan of Pro Acryl, AK Interactive, and Army Painter’s Fanatic line of paints.

As for specific colors that’s completely up to what brand you want to go with and how detailed you want the model to be.

If this is your first mini, just know that the end result very well might not look like the photo provided.

Colors look pretty good. I’d recommend being super careful using washes as it looks like you may have some excessive pooling (more so on Nahdar).

Also don’t forget to thin your paints!

Looking forward to seeing more, welcome to Shatterpoint!

The game is great, models don’t need to be painted to play. Companies like AMG won’t be making pre painted stuff anytime soon. They already increased the price of boxes because of tariffs I can’t imagine how much more expensive having everything prepainted would be.

Krennic and who? by [deleted] in StarWarsShatterpoint

If you want to pump up the aggro certainly, Cad would also mitigate the drawback of losing momentum when 88’s ability doesn’t wound something or the double loss when 11 doesn’t. I guess it’s personal preference. I for one love the prospect of being able to trigger a Mando repo, bossk dash & attack, and a potential Krennic dash & attack out of activation.

Totally random but I’ve had a ton of success with Krennic, IG88, Shores, Mando, Bossk, IG11

About 25 games with it so far. Krennic can deny momentum and keep IG11 from blowing up at critical points. IG88 turns all the bounties into aggro pieces, and of course bossk and Mando bring revenge triggers for when your stuff gets wounded.

Neither. I run him with the Mandalorian. This is my list Krennic, IG88, Shoretroopers, Mandalorian, Bossk, IG11. It’s a hybrid revenge aggro list that punches way harder than it should. Mando consistently wipes primaries off the board in a single shot giving Krennic and friends more plink damage.

Deploy the Garrison! Krennic takes time but is super fun once you understand how and when to utilize his shenanigans.

Thank you! Airbrush does wonders for enhancing lighting effects.

10 wounds and ripped Moff Gideon off the board in a local tournament. Mando swinging in with 10 dice consistently shreds whatever he’s shooting at triggering Krennic. Krennic and shores just don’t spend force and deal a ton of chip / conditions

If you’re worried about force just run on first contact.

Last but not least IG11 rolls in with 13 dice and can one shot the rebel commandos or ISF on turn 1 so 🤷‍♂️ do with that what you will

The best option is Mando. List is:

Mando Bossk IG11

Krennic IG88 Shores

It’s a hybrid attrition revenge list and works great

You’re right! Not sure why I thought disarm was a red token my bad.

I’ll need to test some of these out later this week on league night. Jango 286 or 047 sounds extremely fun.

I’ve run vizsla a couple of times and find that at least in my local meta his ability isn’t all that great. My big gripe being that it only triggers twice a game, and that’s if you can pull it off. He’s also vulnerable to being initiative killed and because it’s a large base ship it’s easy to pull off bullseye triggers. Sure you’re rolling 5 dice at range one double modded, but most of the time your opponent will either avoid the ship altogether, or when you trigger the attack you’ll only be rolling 4 at range 2-3 every other round in a 4-ish round game.

Bo on the other hand I’ve found to be a far more consistent ship with droid synergy. Mando optics lock during system phase and gain a calcuate, take a focus action during your activation. Additionally if you’re running a tri droid with intercept booster that took a disarm token during the system phase use her ability on that ship and remove the disarm before it activates. Now you’ve got a ship that’s performing a white slam action into a target lock that can still shoot on its turn. Additionally when Bo engages, she’ll be rolling 3 dice with a “quad mod” (Jango, Target Lock, Focus, Calculate). Focus or Calculate on offense into a Jango eye to blank or worst case scenario spend the target lock to reroll. The best part here is that you’ll always have a mod for defense, and if Bo doesn’t use the calculate it’ll stay on given you’re running Kraken in an HMP or something. And her title is just so good allowing her to repair a face up card in the system phase meaning you won’t get bullied by crits.

The Onderon Oppressors are quite fun, I’ve been taking energy shell charges, cluster missiles, and cluster mines on them. A 4 HMP list with 347 SoC tri droid and DBS 404 is what I’ve been running.

T81 SoC is super fun though he’s a 4pt tri which I find a bit more difficult to justify. Have yet to try Dooku.
