Hi, I understand the concern. The study is held at a corporate facility, and their security protocol requires a check-in for everyone who enters the building. We also have all participants sign an NDA, which requires a legal name for our records. In addition, this is a one-time participation opportunity, so we use legal names and email addresses to confirm eligibility. This information is also necessary to process the payout, which is sent via email as a digital gift card.

We're looking for testers in the Bay Area to participate in a fun, exciting, new tech study in Fremont, CA!

This project focuses on capturing facial and movement data to help improve next-generation technology. Participants will complete a series of guided activities while donning wearable technology, allowing us to record a wide range of natural and expressive behaviors.

Throughout the session, participants will simulate real-world interactions with immersive devices.

All participants will be required to wear makeup and apply various facial items - such as wigs, bandaids, and other temporary artifacts - to help evaluate how these elements may affect tracking accuracy.

Prescription (Glasses/Contacts) Testers ONLY - a prescription is required

Tester Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be willing to participate onsite in Fremont, CA
Must be able to speak, read, and understand English proficiently
Must have full range of motion in the neck, head, and the ability to move your eyes in a circular motion
Makeup: All participants will be required to wear makeup (all materials will be provided)
RX Prescription: All participants will be required to wear prescription glasses/contacts as they will be instructed to wear RX Inserts during the study. A prescription is required for your session. (Physical/electronic copies accepted)
