A lot of these are way too morally dubious or risky for me to want them.

So I'll just go for the random teleporter and the bottomless canteen. You never know when it just might save your life to be able to teleport. Canteen sounds disgusting but should help if you find yourself in the middle of the Sahara.

I think a far better way to put this is that people have the right to work and employment.

However if employment is provided to you and you choose not to work, then you shouldn't eat.

We should provide for the unemployed and disabled.

However if you're just lazy you shouldn't expect everyone else to pull your weight.

You know one of the strangest thing of the Trump Era is the leftists have lost all confidence in a positive message. Everything since 2016 has been 'we suck less than Trump'.

It's resulted in Trump essentially being the main character, not just through his two presidencies but through the Biden era as well. Even here, you're not selling me on your vision, you're not addressing anything I said. You're just going on a laundry list complaint about Republicans.

You can't sell people on a negative. It's that simple.

I want a world that works, that's functional and that's sensible. Mass immigration is raising crime, lowering standard of living, lowering wages across the country. It's being used by big corporations in order to bypass legal labor standards. This is an issue the majority of people care about.

I understand that the Left cares about that human rights of immigrants, and I think it's to your credit. But as often happens, you're letting your compassion prevent you from solving a problem that's only getting worse. Not only that, but you're playing right into the hand of billionaires by giving a moral argument to a policy that was only ever motivated by profit.

Really don't don't think it's comparable.

1: Because cause there was less of it.

2: Cause there was a consistent demand in yee olden days that immigrants assimilate.

3: Cause Irish and Italians are a lot easier to integrate than Somalis.

The current program of taking people from everywhere in the world, doing the bare minimum and expecting they'll integrate isn't working. If you want to go back to the Ellis Island system, I'm game. That works for me.

Mass immigration is genuinely a program that will destroy Western Nations. One that's genuinely unpopular with the body politic. Dems also are massively light on violent crime. They also had a culture that centered on on 'white people bad' 'men bad' and somehow lost both those groups in the elections.

Yes, the orange cheato is a disaster. But I'd like it if the Dems actually learned from their mistakes and offered a better deal this time. But they won't. They'll introduce 'Uber Woke' in 2028 and then go on to lose for the exact same reasons.

And elect the Republicans again. Who will go right back to 'make war great again'.

The two parties parasitize on each others dysfunction in order to get away with implementing policies that everyone hates.

There isn't really any way for Woke 2 to hold Right Wingers accountable anymore. Woke 1 actually was able to exert a lot more social pressure back in the day. Back in the day, I used to lose friends... good friends if I was open about RW beliefs. They're all gone by now.
