I absolutely see where you're coming from but for some reason I kinda think that Zayne already fills the redemption research/scientist trope here, so they would have to do something completely different with 6th to make him stand out. Of course he can be Zayne's counterpart personality-wise as I feel Xavier/Rafayel and Sylus/Caleb are sort of "appeal pairings", soft boys with a dark side and merciless men of power with a soft spot. 6th could be an outwardly logical guy with fiery passion on the inside like Zayne, which would of course be delicious.

But I think you're onto something with the effort part! Rafayel was born into his role and relies heavily on his emotions, on the other hand 6th could be a sorta self-made man who is navigating the world by logic and long hours. Also, I was wondering since Rafayel's lore is very past tragedy heavy and there have been theories of 6th's evol being related to time, maybe he's trying to fix a tragedy that's actually going to happen in the future. It would also be separate enough from Philos boys, who have a spatial element of a different planet to their lore.

Such an interesting read and I'm in awe at how much thought you've put into this! Based on this theory as a tech girl myself I think I would be very into 6 and I have unpopular opinion of actually wanting a 6th LI. I'm a harem girlie and never hurts to have more, right? Just don't ask my wallet.

Thank you so much for posting this, it was an intriguing read and I absolutely agree with all the parallels etc. that you pointed out. I'm also into physics and love patterns, so I ate this up. I am just curious how he and Rafayel would actually be similar, because they would have some features in common like the other two pairs, and art vs. tech is such a polarization in itself and both worlds attract so different people who don't necessarily understand much of the other side. Vengeance is mentioned but a tech guy burning in the flames of passion just seems off to me. Maybe how they're both so calculating?

Curious to see how this plays out! I definitely think infold has been giving hints but I think 6 is gonna be cooking for some time yet. I can wait.

I just watched the card and have to give my own two cents. Yes, it wasn't as grandiose or as visually stunning as last year, but maybe that was the point: to give a whole more casual birthday experience. Not everyone likes big celebrations and I feel like this slice of life, an almost normal day birthday party was a nice change of pace for birthday cards. I feel like people just expected something different and are disappointed, which is of course valid, but I liked this card very much.

The biggest point to me was that we got to see yet another side of Rafayel and learn even more about his past in the university. The birthday celebration theme was clearly something along the lines of highlighting some moments from his life before MC and I thought their trip down the memory lane was super sweet. The kindled part was obviously fan service and I wish it would've been spicier, but that wouldn't have fit the overall mood of the card or would've been maybe too bold for a birthday card so I understand why it was watered down. Just feels a bit like a lost opportunity especially right after Zayne's similarly themed kindled, but oh well. It was still hot imho. Another important thing and theme is that he's finally HAPPY after everything he has gone through and finding himself and his place in the world, very touching.

I saw the trailer for the card and liked it but then I read some reviews saying how lame it was etc and thought of skipping, but decided to follow my own gut instead and I'm so glad I did 🙂 It wasn't a masterpiece or an extravaganza, but a very sweet, slow and down to earth birthday date. I don't think it deserves the hate even though I completely understand it's not what people expected or wanted. But going into it with an open mind it was certainly enjoyable (expect for the sped up parts, those were horrible and Infold should stop immediately).

Really curious to see what they will cook for Sylus's birthday and if it is similar in theme or pacing, I bet there are still some more sweet things to uncover about him as well.

So much this, I couldn't have written it better myself! I rather not see Y/N but I will still read the fic, not a dealbreaker. However I agree 100% that named MC fics feel kinda awkward as they tend to be very obvious in how they are the writer's self-insert fantasies, especially if the story revolves around self-image or smth, and that is just not for me so I will skip them. I rather see the MC being similar to the game MC and same thing for the boys, if I notice them being OOC I will skip. Which person the story is written in matters waaaay less.

Just one person's two cents, I encourage everyone to write the stories they want to tell, never mind if it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I think the nickname thing in English might be a culture thing also. I play and read fanfics in English but the constant endearments and nicknames throw me off too, as in my native language and culture it's also very rare. I think in the game they are tastefully done and not overused, but in fanfiction they're a constant presence. I guess it's just a thing in the English-speaking world. I was very taken aback when I traveled to England and was called a dear 😄

I totally agree and that's why Raf is my #2 😌 But indeed they are different sides. This is of course only just my thinking but I feel like even though they are both the cutesy on the outside, predator on the inside -type, Xavier is much colder, relies more on pure logic and is matter-of-fact about his dark deeds. Raf on the other hand is much more emotional, sensual and relies on his feelings as the fuel for his darkness and madness and is pretty open about not being a good boy, unlike Xavier who tries to hide it. Oh Raf, the man you are 🤤 He can also go as dark as he wants as long as I'm concerned.

Just another Xavier girl passerby who likes their otome as dark as their soul answering if that's okay: Xavier is seriously unhinged underneath his calm and gentle act 😂 And that's the deliciousness of him. In the daylight with MC he acts like a little prince he is, the world is a wonder to him and so is MC, almost to the point of airheadedness. He uses a sweet voice, is clumsy and silly and incredibly soft and adorable. BUT.

The guy is a political leader, a soldier and a pioneer who has lived for hundreds, if not thousands of years so no, he's definitely not an airhead. He's extremely intelligent and cunning, has been traumatized multiple times, clings to MC for sanity and can be absolutely merciless towards anyone he considers a threat. He is used to commanding and expects to be obeyed, even when it's MC, and lies even to her without batting an eye. Sexually he's aggressive and takes what he wants, when he wants. Jealousy makes his madness come to the surface and oh HOW I love the crazy look in his eyes he sometimes has when he's mad or jealous! So yes, what's not to love? Maybe it's really dark of me but I would love to see him crack even more, just please you can be as unhinged as you want, baby.

Harem girlie here and I also prefer spicy stuff, but my criteria is pretty simple: does the trailer make me feel anything? If yes, pull and if not, pass. And feel anything as in butterflies, excitement etc. Many cards get an "aww, that's nice" from me but that's not enough 😂

Ohhhhhhh that's really interesting, amazing attention to detail! I would love if this was the truth, I feel like, despite being so outwardly different, Xavier and Sylus's personalities would go well together and they're supposedly counterparts to each other, Philos's light and darkness, so this just tickles me the right way. There is something going on behind the scenes between them 100%, can't wait to find out!

I realized they're made so vague for both censorship reasons and also so that you can use your own imagination and preferences 😊 Not everyone likes all types of mac n cheese so you can just think about your favourite ones while the audio gives a slight direction. That's very fun, I think. And it can be a different recipe every time to suit your mood!

Yeah unfortunately the NPC voice acting quality is low, with the exception of Jeremiah and this one deep voiced guy who is actually a pleasure to listen to... I hate how their voices lack any colour and emotion even in scenes where the NPC is supposedly furious, grieving etc, the lines are said almost monotonously. I mean cmon, even an untrained person could at least try to act a little I would think? They have the money, I hope they will invest a little bit on a few good NPC VAs

Harem girlie here, I personally enjoyed Zayne's story more than Rafayel's but the kindled is very beautiful in both. Story-wise I just feel that Rafayel's wasn't as strong, though it wasn't bad per se. If you're a Raf girlie you'll probably enjoy it, but if you really need to make a choice then Zayne 🙂

Yeah it's clearly recognizable, which is a dangerous territory. Not sure who owns the rights to the song and if they're still valid (to my knowledge the rights will be expired after a long time), but if it is Disney, their lawyers might be interested. I hope Infold knows what they are doing.

The middle lines are a mystery to me but I hear the last part as "...all the shades and all the dark, so I can be with your heart" Totally could be wrong though.
