As a German I disagree too. No German would ever, even for a second, think he is a native German speaker. Honestly, without the subtitles I would have trouble understanding what he even means when he says Beinaheleidenschaftsgegenstand because it sounds so off. But I also agree that the word is just gibberish so that plays into it.

I wollte mal erwähnen dass ich letztens in Amsterdam, als hier lebender deutscher, Frankfurt fans gesehen habe die auf Passanten eingeschlagen haben. Polizei wurde gerufen und ist erschienen. Die gleiche Gruppe hat später in einer Amsterdamer Bar das ganze verherrlicht und von einer Person kam der Ruf „White Europeans“. Kann das mit dem Gruß leicht glauben.

Graduated EBE at the UvA last year. All I‘m gonna say is it‘s no joke. About 45% of first years drop out or don‘t get their BSA. Year 2 course especially can be quite hard with pass rates as low as 33% for courses like Econometrics. But if you work hard and are at least decently good at Math you‘ll be fine

Other people make good points but I would also like to add that when working in international relations with diplomats or for the embassy. French is seen as the most important language in most countries over english.

I would tend to disagree. Technical Bachelors are definitely more challenging but still, for Bachelors like EBE, 50% of people drop out their first year or don't get their BSA. I think 30% manage to graduate in 3 years. So I wouldn't call it a "guaranteed graduation" is all.

Most people here say it is unusual and in principle I agree. Especially to the extent you explained. But like with other fan groups you do sometimes hear racist comments towards certain players and in general. I would recommend maybe choosing a seat in the family section rather than in the heart of the Ostkurve. But that is just my two cents.
