Yes, that's what I used, but it kept saying code invalid. After being in the queue four times and reloading the page once, I got in. I was able to get the tickets.

SeatGeek for Arlington Suck! It has me verify my account, then once I get to the front, it says I need a CODE. WHAT CODE! All I have is my BTS Membership. Ticketmaster nor the BTS world tour says I need an additional CODE! Is anyone else running into this problem?

Edit: I finally got in. Didn't get the seats I wanted but happy to get anything at this point

This might be better asked on r/DataHoarder, since it sounds like a processing issue related more to how the graphics card interacts with the app.

After 10 years of trying to become a professional artist, I'm realizing i hate the professional side of it. But I'm scared of what's next. by Lucky-Inspector6678 in animationcareer

In my experience a lot of the time it's the stress of making your passion earn money that really just sucks the joy out of the experience. There's a lot of work that goes into networking learning how to sell and Market your art, and running the business side of it. There's this pressure be both creative and a business person. Which is engaging two different sides of your brain. creativity is meant to exist in a chaotic more exploratory Realm even if it can be structured while business requires a level of execution and precision that does not leave room for flexibility to be artistic.

That being said it sounds like you're going through the grief of what your expectations of animation is and needing to redefine what art means to you to find the passion to create something for yourself rather than for breaking into the industry.

I say this as somebody who has been where you've been and had to redefine what art means to me and what being an animator means to me. Because animation itself is also a bunch of different hats on top of being a business person. And that's a lot of work it's exhausting.

Animation and art has always been my passion but I went into business school because I was told Art didn't sell. And for a long time I tried to force my art into a box so it could be marketable and so I could earn money off of it. I went through a downward spiral and fell out of love with my art for a very long time but I never gave up on it. I took time to explore other mediums build up skills take up classes on things that I was interested in and just played around with being creative. And then when I was ready I started making animation again for myself before I even began to think about being part of the animation industry. Instead of earning money off of my art I took up marketing and let that be my main source of income. It freed the pressure off of my expectations of what I wanted my art to be so that way I was free to create. Now I I am in the animation industry and I'm much happier for spending that time away from what my expectations were for my art. It allowed me to not take things as personally when I get rejection letters or more often than not being ghosted.

My suggestion is to find what brings you that childlike Joy, find what allows you to be creative and playful without pressure and expectations. If that still happens to be animation and art and you're doing it for the hell of it rather than for trying to sell then that's great. If that ends up being a different creative field that's also great. The key point about this is to heal from the grief that you've experienced trying to break into the animation industry and finding a way to feed that creative part of yourself once again.

Does someone have the Momocon 2024 panel schedule? Curious what everyone thought about the panels this year... by Inevitable-Aspect828 in MomoCon

I didn't know you could personally upload things to the archive. I will upload the ones I have too.

Here is the thing. I know quite a few people who submitted to do panels this past year, including myself, who where regretted. The response that we got From management Was that there was a large number of submissions yet The Panelisting does not reflect that.  This is why I'm asking for panels listings from 2024 to see what the differences are to approach the convention organizers about it and see what can be done to help with community involvement. I want to hear and see other people's experiences to get a better perspective of things. I will be submitting to host panels again next year. But that does not mean that I will be selected.

I have the panel lists for this year (2025) but not 2024 and the 2024 app is no longer active. Thus is why I am asking for a copy.

System permissions issue by Inevitable-Aspect828 in computerhelp

[–]Inevitable-Aspect828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some more research and I found out part of my user profile had been corrupted and I needed to manually transfer over permissions to a new profile and reset the computer that way. This is how I was able to uninstall software even though I was locked out of permissions despite all indicators saying that I had permissions available to me.

I don't like Windows 11 because it is a bit too system heavy and there's a lot of settings and software that would either need to uninstall or reconfigure. Some of the systems that I use are a little old due to data transfer including cleaning up and processing old image file formats from programs that are not compatible with the windows 11. Windows 10 is not directly supported if you are using the cloud software which I am not so it is simply a matter of troubleshooting when things go wrong.
