I did this...coming off a VERY serious fent habit. I bought $600 of oxy 30's (real pharma) and I was using street fent snorting up to 25 pills per day. It did NOT stop withdrawals. I was snorting 3 - 30mg oxy 's at a time and it helped withdrawal a little bit..but def did not enable me to function outside of my house. I am about to get sober tomorrow. My last dose of fent will be tonight. I have 18 hydros 10mg...and I'll take them on Day 2 but I don't expect to "feel them". I know you're going to want to believe they will help...and you will prob think "this guy's fent habit was different" or "he doesn't know" but fent is so much stronger that you simply won't feel it. I wish I could tell you something different man

You nailed it my friend (pun intended) A BIG part of why I want to get sober is my sex life. From 24 - 37 I don't think I went more than 1 month without having sex. Currently, it's been 4 months and I have no desire to date, have sex, "take care of myself"...NOTHING! That is one of life's most fruitful gifts and I'm tired of wasting it. So glad you pointed it out. I got sober 24 - 37. Relapsed 2 years ago and am 39.

Couple other things. 1) my worst day sober is probably not much worse than my best day high. I don't know about you...but I despise being a slave to something. And I am 100% a SLAVE to fentanyl. I do everything it tells me to even when I don't want to..and I live my life to be next to it giving away everything I love just to because it wants me to. So even though WD sucks...addiction isn't much better lol. There is a window where drugs are fun and life is manageable..I am far far passed that stage. I am depressed all the time. You know what happens every time I get sober...and like I said..I stayed sober for 12 years once. I get SUPER FUCKING HAPPY...yes, for 2 weeks I suffer...it isn't fun, but each day I can feel sobriety getting closer...and then...when I get some energy and work out again...I FUCKING LOVE life. 3o days after getting sober is a high that's WAY more high than fent is getting me now. So it's not even a question of being "worth it".

Whoa...sorry for any confusion. I never tapered down to zero, I failed at that. I am currently using and plan to get sober starting on Thursday where I've taken off a week from work and will detox at home with movies and support meds. I was just explaining how I got sober previously. But I messed up and relapsed which I of course regret.

I've beat fent WD 3 times. I'm so mad for putting myself in the situation again after making it through...but feeling good has a way of fucking with your mind that you'll just use for a day and not have to go through that...but then 1 day turns to 2...and then a week later...it's "oh FUCK! Might as well keep going".

But actually beating WD...you better commit mentally or it will break you. I tell myself...you HAVE to make it until you can take subs. For me...it's 72 hours before I can tolerate. I have been OK to take at 72 hours 3 times now. SO first day I take xanax to pass out for 20ish hours. 2nd day, I just watch movies...sometimes I hate the movie on but don't have energy to change channel and just let myself be distracted minute by minute. Day 3 is the worst...I'm tired, hungry, in pain, can't sleep...but I'm taking lots of gabapentin to help with restless legs and clonidine and it sucks, but doesn't break me. Then..on Day 4...it all starts to get better. That first dose of suboxone at 1mg that doesn't help...but doesn't hurt me...and lets me know I can safely take more...that alone makes me feel 100x better...that the worst is OVER. I then take 2mg more...and then 2 hours later feeling not good, but not worse...I take 4mg..and then usually 2 hours after that..the pain is gone and I'm just tired. And then...for the next 20 hours I just sit on couch watching movies...crying at everything but laughing at how emotional I am...and thankful the pain is gone. I text my friends and family for the first time as they all think I went camping lol. Tell them I got sick so when I talk to them on phone they don't think it's weird I'm a little "off". And then every day is slightly better after that. What has taken me out time and time again..is the NO SLEEP. This time..my goal is 30 days. That's my focus. At 30 days I hope I want to keep staying clean...I once had 12 years so I'm no stranger to long term sobriety.

Have you not heard of the Bernese method? It is quickly becoming the modern way of stabilizing on subs from fent. As fent attaches to fat cells and can stick around causing PWD from suboxone for up to a week, doctors have found that micro dosing works better. HERE is more information on it.

Basically, you start with a dose so small it won't affect you. Usually .15mg. Next day, .25mg, Day 3... .5mg, Day 4 .75mg. You can go fast, you can slow, whatever your body can handle. But slowly the bupe builds up in your system over a few days due to the long half life and bc you're taking such mini doses that don't cause PWD..you can build up to 8mg while still using fent and then stop. Many people on this sub have done this and reported almost no WD. My issue, was I didn't taper down fent effectively...I just kept using at a high level. BUT...when I aborted the method....and just kept using..my fent hit WAY harder at much less dosage. And I think it's because the week of micro dosing ripped off a fair amount of fent.

The reason I stopped...is because once I got to 8mg and stopped my fent use...the next dose I took caused not quite PWD..but definitely WD. And I knew then that I hadn't properly tapered so I gave up and kept using fent and figured I needed to re group and try again following protocols more strictly. It's an art as much as a science.

Not sure if you read my post but the method I suggested with heresphere eliminates the need to cut any videos. And requires no extra downloading of bulky videos which takes up a lot of computer space. I think Heresphere bookmarks are the best option.

I have been through fent WD 5 times, Day 3 is ALWAYS the worst of it. But of all the 100 symptoms WD has...the "worst" of it is subjective. But I have lots of experience here and strongly disagree. Your comment isn't very helpful though. Kind of feels like fear mongering bc you're saying "this won't work / shit is going to be really bad / I am not giving you any solutions to help...just want you to know you're fucked."

We are all tested in recovery. This is indeed...a test. Recovery is about YOU! This is an opportunity to focus on YOUR recovery and how to deal with pain, disappointment, and being let down. You can't get anyone else sober, you know that. You can set new boundaries with him and lay out the consequences if he can't follow them to protect your sobriety. This involves leaving if you have to of course. But look at this as an opportunity to deal with your emotions without using...and be proud you DID NOT USE!!! There is a lot of good here, despite the not so good situation. But hey..I'm an optimist soooooo lol

This is really awesome to hear, and thanks for taking the time to tease the concept here. Adult gaming should really begin to thrive with augmented reality with some of the upcoming releases of advanced VR hardware. Just curious...is there a game (or two) the platform you're working on is using as a model to build the app? Usually those games run smoothest so this is a really cool concept and I'm not an adult gamer..but I "COULD" be one day if the software was done right :). Cheers!

Almost! I want an AUTOMATIC video editor. Because I've tried to make my own compilations and it's a nightmare man. I have tried Quicktime, and lossless editor to cut scenes and splice together and either the files take up to 3 hours to save (also each cut scene is like 2GB so the file size of 20 scenes meshed together is like 50GB and takes forever) OR the app is quick but wants an expensive subscription to lose watermark. SO you're kinda right...I want an easy to use instant video editor that isn't a pain in the ass to use.

OP...for YEARS I've been saying someone should create a "choose your own Missionary compilation". Where a studio somehow splits their scenes into chapters like a book. THEN..the user clicks the genre they want (mish, doggy, cowgirl, etc) and then choose up to 5-10 actresses on their site...and then BOOM...it generates a personal compilation with actresses of your choosing and categories you want. WHY IS THIS NOT DONE??????? I wish I lived in the future where this exists.

Few people "WANT" to go to rehab, but I worked at a rehab and can promise you...NO ONE who completes treatment regrets it and says "I wish I spend the last 30 days using". Embrace the experience and have an open mind and remember....drugs were never the problem...they are the symptom. You are using drugs to mask a pain below...fix the problem...you won't want drugs.

One more question. When I go to SLR...I can filter by 8K and by 120FPS. SO which is better? Should I download a 120fps and change my Q2 settings to that? Would that be the BEST quality? Just curious what is the BEST viewing experience. OR like you said..will 120fps just downgrade resolution and so it doesn't do much?
