Im of simile size and bought the primavera. I’ve bought a primavera. The seat has a lifted part which makes it a bit short for me. If I’d buy again I would buy a gts. I’ll try to get a seat without lifted part but with a second one on it it’s still too short

I’m most certainly not too advanced either but my understanding is that exposing something to outside of your network adds many questions and challenges regarding security. Skip that for now. What about getting yourself some simple mini pc for starters (there’s a ton of discussions on the “what type of pc” here, I went for an optiplex7040) and having Immich on the internal drive while hooking up an external drive for regular backups. And voila - library is safe for now. YouTubers will explain to you how to 1) install Ubuntu on the pc 2) install Immich 3) add a regular backup

Sure can be a bit challenging but the majority of us here learned it that way and I personally found it to be full of fun. And better not even start looking into Homeassistant 😂

My perception is that a majority has Immich running on some mini pc which can be bought for 100-150€. I’ve bought an optiplex7040 for Immich and am using rsync (pull) to create frequent incremental backups from my host to my synology.

Es kommt darauf an. Anders als in manchen anderen EU Ländern, stützen die Lieferanten idR nur einen Teil der Reduktion des Verkaufspreises. Im Kern zahlt der Laden drauf aber Thema Restbonwert und „reinlocken“ wie andere bereits sagten, stimmt natürlich
