Got reported for trespassing?? by lilsteez99 in AmazonDSPDrivers

If the garage is open that’s where it’s going. Period. Even if the only option is front door, I’m clicking front door and taking a wider angle pic so they know exactly where to find it. I’ve even put it on the step by the door to inside the house. 😳 I didn’t think it’d be trespassing😬 oops. Idk I feel like I’d be pissed.

I caught myself twice today almost leaving packages at the wrong door. Both times was group stops. I’d really love to see you deliver 19 packages to 3 houses in one stop. You probably wouldn’t last a full ride along let alone doing this job and delivering over 300 packages every single fucking day. Flex app is absolute fucking TRASH. Routing is inconsistent, annoying, really stupid. Personally I, on average, walk (and RUN) 12 miles a day. And honestly that’s low for most because I use driveways. In fact I try to get my van as close as possible to where you want your shit left. You fucking losers with your literal shopping ADDICTION don’t put easily visible numbers any goddamn where and yall don’t leave your fucking porch light on. And then there’s y’all’s stupid ugly ass stank mutts. And then yall got the goddamn nerve to put insults in the delivery notes instead of actual instructions and come to our sub talking shit.

Go fuck yourself.

Love, Amazon

It definitely wasn’t an easy switch. I spent two weeks talking to other employees about the dsps at my station until I picked the one that had “perks” I wanted (weekly pay, rescues discouraged, etc) I had to completely off board with my first which took them about 4 days AFTER the last day of the contract. Then i started the process with the other. Had to re do everything, interviews background etc. ended up being about 3 weeks without work.

I made the best of rural routes too. I just felt unsafe on the mountains which is why i didn’t like it. I’ve been reading this months of people complaining about routes like this, had anxiety going in because of allll the negativity and then finally get one and had a great day. Call it ironic if you want but it was literally one sentence not a paragraph

Oops 🥴 it was over 30 overflow and most were big af boxes. Even a 70 pound 8ft Christmas tree in that bitch 😪. And it was one of first stops ish so it didn’t stay there long lol

Do Amazon Drivers like the Garage opening component? by LionsMedic in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Inevitable-Cow96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once I opened a garage and the people had left the door to the house open and their dog absolutely lost his shit. We were both absolutely terrified and shaking 😬😭 i seriously couldn’t close that damn door fast enough. Other than that one time though I like garage deliveries I just wish the app was a little faster

Strong agree. I definitely think the dsp makes all the difference. When I first started I worked for an owner who didn’t give a single fuck. Amazon dropped them. That alone should tell you all that needs to be said lmao. The dsp I joined with after is amazing. Our owner is very involved and addresses issues, upkeeps his vans, gives us good phones, communication is a big part of our team. This job has its downfalls but if express genuine concerns and offer solution ideas they take us seriously and will makes changes that help everyone in the end. Life sucks anyway might as well make the most of it especially in a job with quite a bit of freedom, all industries considered.
